RCT of a previously initiated upper second molar with 3 challenges:

1. Restricted Access: Patient had a very limited mouth opening (Using a mini-head handpiece and endomotor can facilitate this)
2. Obstruction: A separated instrument in the MB root.
3. Anatomy: S-shaped curvature
The Process: Coronal flaring followed by using an ultrasonic tip to retrieve the file.
Shaping that double curve was done using the Rivya Elite Rotary Kit with s-shaped cross-section from Dento Dent
Firstly by coronal flaring and then proceeding with the 15.04 glide path file followed by further shaping while maintaining the anatomy.

The final obturation shows the full extent of the MB’s "S" shape. It’s a great reminder that retrieval is only half the battle; the shaping that follows is what ensures long-term success.
