Today marks the anniversary of the passing of Fouad Khalil (1940–2012), one of Egypt’s most beloved scene-stealers.
He wasn’t always the lead, but he always left a mark. The moment he stepped on screen, he owned it.

طبيبٌ أضحكَ مصر لعقود
رغم تخصُّصه في طب الأسنان، إلا أنّه اختار أن يُعالِج الناس بالضحك، فكان نجمًا في الظل لا يمرّ دون أن يترك أثراً.
تُصادف اليوم ذكرى وفاة الفنان الكبير فؤاد خليل (1940–2012)، أحد أبرز الوجوه الكوميدية التي لم تحتلّ الأدوار الأولى، لكنها كثيرًا ما سرقت الأضواء بمجرد ظهورها على الشاشة.

وُلِد في الأول من نوفمبر عام 1940
تخرّج في كلية طب الأسنان، جامعة الإسكندرية عام 1961
بدأ مسيرته الفنية عام 1968 بمسرحية سوق العصر
كوّن فرقة مسرحية شبابية مع الفنان محيي إسماعيل
اشتهر بتقديم شخصيات إنسانية، طريفة، ولا تُنسى

في سنواته الأخيرة، عانى من الشلل الرباعي وجلطة في القلب، إلى أن وافته المنية يوم 9 أبريل 2012 عن عمر 72 عامًا.
