Reason #3: The Transformation

وده السبب التالت اللي بيخليني أؤمن إن التدريب مش مجرد نقل معرفة، لكنه a space for growth and rebirth.

Reason #2: The Connection

And just like that… the Sports for Social Change program has come to an end.

For me, this was not just another project, it was a milestone, an achievement that I’ll always carry forward as a trainer and as a person.

It was a journey that went far beyond training. It was about inclusion, growth, and building bridges. We faced tough issues like gender-based violence, child marriage, and cultural barriers, and we worked to make sure persons with disabilities were fully part of the process. Most importantly, it was about seeing real transformation in people, the way participants shifted their ideas, behaviors, and even how they looked at themselves and their communities.

Sports turned out to be a powerful tool. A tool for dialogue, for breaking stereotypes, and for creating space where people can connect and grow together.

To all the participants: thank you. You shared stories, memories, and moments that touched me deeply. You opened your hearts and minds, and honestly, I learned from you as much—if not more—than you learned from me.

And of course, I can’t end this without thanking the incredible team behind the program. A special thanks to Youth and Development Consultancy Institute, Etijah for their vision and dedication, to Walaa Esmaiel (our M&E lead) for her continuous support and encouragement, and to Mariam Mamdouh, truly the best project manager ever—for her kindness, support, and determination to make sure nothing stood in the way of success.

At the end, this is why I love training. Because it’s never just about delivering content, it’s about being part of journeys that change lives, including my own.

Here’s to many more. ⚽✨

Reason #1: The Spark

And just like that… the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) & Career 180 summer course has come to an end.

What a journey! From day one till the last session, it wasn’t just about training in freelancing and soft skills, it was about energy, curiosity, teamwork, and seeing how much young people can grow in such a short time.

I honestly have to thank all the participants, your commitment, effort, and the amazing feedback you shared made every single session worth it. You guys set the bar high and kept me inspired throughout.

Big thanks as well to career 180 and nti for making this whole experience possible, and a very special shout-out to Sarah Khaled and Mayada Ebrahim for their coordination, support, and making sure everything ran smoothly.

And of course, all my gratitude to Omnia Elorbany, The project manager, for her effort, continuous support, and guidance all along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better lead.

For me, it was more than delivering sessions. It was about connecting, sharing experiences, and watching ideas turn into real motivation. I honestly leave this program as inspired as (if not more than) the participants themselves.

Grateful for the trust, the learning, and the chance to be part of something that leaves an actual impact.
Here’s to more journeys like this one! 🚀

One challenge. One day. Countless reasons to be proud. 🚀

In the Summer Course powered by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) in collaboration with Career 180, this freelancing group keeps raising the bar higher with every step.

From day one, they’ve brought focus, creativity, and a teamwork spirit that’s simply inspiring.

Yesterday’s challenge was all about portfolios, not just as a folder of projects, but as a real turning point that can open doors and create opportunities.

And today, they came back with more than I could’ve asked for: portfolios full of personality, creativity, and proof that they can turn ideas into action.

What stood out even more was how they pushed each other forward, celebrated every win, and turned the whole task into a team journey.

That’s the beauty of training: knowledge becoming action, and people discovering just how far they can go.

They didn’t just complete the task, they reminded me why I love doing this, and gave me a fresh dose of inspiration along the way. ❤️

This view is the greatest thing that can happen to you at the end of a long and exhausting training day: to find all the feedback positive, and the sheet of negatives completely empty. Praise be to Allah for the great blessings and favors He has bestowed upon us.

O Allah, use us and do not replace us.

It was with immense joy and profound pride that I met my trainees from Minya Governorate during the advanced training phase of the Comprehensive Youth Empowerment Program. The training focused on gender, inclusion of persons with disabilities, and policy papers at the British Council in Cairo. I was truly delighted to see them taking significant steps in expanding their knowledge and enhancing their skills. I am proud to be a cog in the wheel of the British Council’s Comprehensive Youth Empowerment Project, which offers incredible opportunities for empowerment, inclusion, and opening doors for young men and women from various governorates across Egypt

I'm thrilled to share the incredible journey of the Advocacy and Initiatives Training as part of the capacity-building program within the project, implemented by Gozour Foundation for Development, funded by the French Embassy in Cairo.

The "Her Dignity Is Your Dignity" project aims to enhance the capacity of 10 community organizations/institutions in Cairo and Dakahlia Governorates and support them in providing services to 500 women and girls who are survivors of violence. This will be achieved by creating safe spaces for women, conducting support and advocacy campaigns, and encouraging and implementing activities aimed at the social and economic empowerment of vulnerable women.

Started the first session with a new freelancing group in the Summer Course powered by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Career 180 — and it reminded me once again why this work is so meaningful to me.

Even though the training was online, the energy was undeniable. I wanted the participants to begin with awareness rather than tools, so I divided them into teams to map out the pros and cons of freelancing.

The breakout rooms quickly came alive: some groups brainstorming at full speed, others engaging in thoughtful debates. What stood out was not just the ideas themselves, but the collaboration, curiosity, and honesty that shaped them.

When they presented, the conversation went far beyond simple pros and cons. It became a reflection on what freelancing truly demands: freedom and flexibility, yes — but also discipline, resilience, and the ability to embrace uncertainty.

What impressed me most was the maturity and passion they demonstrated on day one. If this is how they’re starting, I’m very excited to see how much they’ll grow by the end of the course. 🚀

Proud of My Children and Our Achievement: "One Family" Initiative

I am proud to announce that my children have launched the "One Family" initiative, which has secured the first place in the youth initiatives of Qalyubia Governorate as part of the "Netsharrek" program for community initiatives.

The "One Family" initiative aims to promote values of citizenship, reject extremism and racism, and combat all forms of discrimination among citizens based on religion. It also fights against bullying among children based on their faith, advocating the motto "We are all Egyptians with the same rights and responsibilities."

I am immensely proud of my children and my trainees who graduated from the Netsharrek workshop at the youth center in Namoul Village, Toukh District, Qalyubia Governorate, for their efforts and achievements. God willing, the future holds even greater accomplishments! 💪🏻💪🏻

Special thanks to my children: Mena Said, Reem Hossam, Rokaya Reda, Mariam Hamdi, and Mohamed Ezzat. You are a source of pride and inspiration, and you have exceeded expectations at your age.

I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to my fellow trainers in Qalyubia for their support, encouragement, and contributions to their workshops and initiatives.

My sincere thanks go to Dr. Ahmed Nagm, training consultant at the Ministry and supervisor of Qalyubia, for his support, encouragement, and guidance.

I deeply appreciate Mr. Mahmoud Naguib, the technical coordinator for the governorate, for his dedication and commitment.

Thank you to the Youth and Sports Directorate in Qalyubia, Dr. Nasser and Ms. Heba, for their assistance in overcoming obstacles and support from the very first day of training until the evaluation phase was completed.

I am immensely grateful to the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Egypt, represented by Ms. Randa Al-Bitar, who has been a tremendous supporter and motivator throughout this journey.

Praise be to God, with sincere thanks and blessings. ❤
