Ismailia International Film Festival Ismailia International Film Festival (IIFF) is the Oldest Running Film Festival in Egypt, Middle East & Africa specialized in Documentaries & Short Films.

IIFF is organized by The Egyptian Ministry of Culture, Egyptian Film Center. Out of the belief in the Importance of Short & Documentary Films, The Festival 1st edition was born in 1991 to Showcase Significant Documentaries & Shorts in a celebration of Cinema & Creativity. The Festival’s Competitive Section includes 4 Competitions:

Non-Competitive Section:
IIFF organizes Encounters & Debates between Filmmakers & The Audience, Journalists and Industry Professionals. In addition, IIFF organizes a variety of Cinema Workshops in collaboration with Industry Professionals to offer the opportunity for Young Filmmakers to advance their Skills, Experience & Knowledge.
