A hiker exploring the forests of Lugo, Galicia, has discovered an abandoned village where time seems to have stood still. The houses, many built of stone and wood, still contain furniture, kitchen utensils, and even clothes hanging in wardrobes, as if their inhabitants had left one day without intending never to return.

According to local historians, the village was abandoned in the 1970s due to migration to cities in search of work. However, what has surprised experts is the remarkable state of preservation of the homes, some of which still have calendars from that era hanging on the walls.

Authorities are now considering whether the site could become a tourist attraction or be declared a cultural heritage site. Meanwhile, the discovery has sparked the curiosity of nearby residents and adventurers who have already started visiting the mysterious ghost village.
