I bumped into this post from EA, and I can’t help but smile and think, ka-cute ba gyud ani.

JL and her still seem to be doing a great job coparenting Elias, and I even remember EA sharing sa story niya that JL’s wife is the best stepmom ever. Makaingon na lang gyud kog sana all.

Honestly, that was my vision before too. As someone who has kids and an ex, I really wanted peaceful coparenting. Kanang bisan wala na mo as a couple, both parents are still mature enough to put the kids first. Kanang ma friend pa gani nimo ang new partner sa imong ex. Grabe ka peaceful unta ana.

Pero lately, narealize gyud nako nga good coparenting only works when both parents are mature enough to put their children first. Dapat normal ug tarong ang dagan sa utok sa papa sa imong anak, kay kung narcissistic ug ego centric gani na, sus, ayaw na lang gyud. Never mind, sizt. Just raise your kids ALONE!

Neeeeeeever makig co-parent og naay mga gipanglukdo kay ikaw ra’y ma-drain. Not worth the mental exhaustion. 😚💁🏼‍♀️

Mga 3 years ago, naoperahan sa appendix akong anak. Paghatod nako sa iyaha sa operating room, mura gyud kog nahugno. Grabe kaayo akong hilak kay dili nako madawat nga operahan akong anak, appendix ra gani to ha compared sa ubang mas major nga operation. Hangtod nahuman ang operation, naa ra gyud ko sa gawas sa operating room sige’g hilak ug ampo. Malooy kaayo ko sa akong anak. Ug pwede lang gyud, ako nalang unta ang operahan, ako nalang unta ang masakitan, dili lang akong anak. Makaboang jod basta anak nay hisgotan, Dili lalim. Moana mog kalma ra, way kalma kalma bsta anak nay hisgotan oy.

A friend from Glan, Sarangani messaged me and asked if I could help spread the word because their town badly needs help right now. Unfortunately, dili kaayo nato makita sa mainstream media ang full extent sa damage nga ilang giatubang after the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

Daghan kaayong roads ang naguba, structures ang nangatagak, ug daghang pamilya ang naapektuhan. Personally, I have friends from Glan, Sarangani, and one gyud ni sa akong favorite beach towns in the region.

Any help will do gyud, no matter how small. It can make a huge difference for families and communities nga naningkamot karon nga makabangon ug makarecover gikan ani nga kalamidad.
