Our New Year’s Resolution: Growth 💪
Over the past couple of year, a small but dedicated group of people have given this proud, historic club the CPR it needed. Thanks to their hard work, the club is now stable — and in 2026, it’s time to help it truly flourish.
We are actively recruiting across all areas of the club:
⚔️ Men’s Team – The Centurions
Having firmly re-established themselves in the Cumbria 1 League, the Centurions are building momentum and looking to strengthen their squad for the seasons ahead.
🦅 Women’s Team – The Eagles
Formed in 2025, the Eagles continue to grow week by week, with consistent numbers and a fantastic culture developing both on and off the field.
🏉 Under 14s – New Team Launch
Following a recent social media post that highlighted both our challenges and why this club matters, we’ve been tasked with creating an Under 14s team. While this will require significant infrastructure and support, it represents an incredible opportunity — not just for the club, but for young lads across the surrounding areas.
This is more than recruitment. It’s about securing the future of the club and Rugby in this area, whilst giving people of all ages the chance to be part of something special.
