❗️🇵🇸The WHO has released a report on the situation at Al-Shifa Clinic, saying its team was only able to spend one hour inside the hospital, which it described as a "death zone" and the situation as desperate.
"The team saw a mass grave at the entrance to the hospital and was told that more than 80 people were buried there. The lack of clean water, fuel, medicine, food and other essential supplies over the past six weeks has meant that Al-Shifa Hospital - once the largest, most modern and best-equipped specialist hospital in the Gaza Strip - has effectively ceased to function as a medical facility," the report says.
Twenty-five medical staff and 291 patients, including 32 infants in critical condition, reportedly remain at Al-Shifa. Meanwhile, there have been several deaths in the past 2-3 days due to the inability to provide proper medical care.
