✈️🇵🇹 𝙇𝙄𝙎𝘽𝙊𝙉… 𝙄’𝙈 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙂! 🇵🇹✈️

Flights are 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗗 and I am ridiculously excited! 🥳

I’m arriving a couple of days before the European Gather & Grow, because I get to spend some time with my amazing friend who lives in a castle right in the middle of Lisbon! 🏰❤️

I’ve visited her once before, but it was at night, so I didn’t get to see the incredible views - there is going to be LOTS of “WOW" moments and photos!! 😂😍

Then I'm checking into the hotel for the main event, where 400+ people from across the world will be coming together for an incredible few days of learning, connection, inspiration and fun. 🌍❤️

And not forgetting, there are a 𝗟𝗢𝗧 of our 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 attending, which makes it even more special! Oh, and the two founders - so I will be hoping for a selfie! 🤣

😂 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮…

We’ve had such a lovely weekend with Stu’s brother John and his wife Kate over. Lots of eating, drinking, laughing, another trip to Apna Punjab last night and then a few very competitive games of Yahtzee when we got home! 🎲😂

So today I’m finding it a little difficult to get myself moving! 🙈

Unfortunately, I have my Quarter 3 tax return to do and, it’s never the most exciting part of running a business! 😂

But it needs doing, so I’m getting another coffee, opening the laptop and making myself get stuck in.

I think that’s the reality of having your own business. Some days are exciting, some days are productive and some days you just really don’t fancy doing the boring stuff! 😂

But we keep going, because building something for ourselves is worth it. ❤️

Right… enough procrastinating. Let’s get this tax return done! ☕️💻😂

🕷️ Meet the newest members of the household…

I normally leave the spiders in my house alone. They do a brilliant job of keeping all the other creepy-crawlies under control, so I figure they’re earning their keep. 😂

BUT… there comes a point when there are just too many webs and too many residents, and today I reached that point!

I’ve just rescued about 12 of them and relocated them outside. 🕷️🌿

I’ve kept two though…
One in the bedroom and one near my favourite spot on the sofa. 😂

So basically, I’ve retained my two-person pest control team.

They get free accommodation, all the bugs they can eat, and I get a spider-free-ish house.

Everyone’s a winner! 😂❤️

❤️ 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 - 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮!

30 people. Different nationalities. One very long table. 🍽️🥂

Yesterday was our monthly "Friends of Aguilas" lunch, and this month we headed to our absolute favourite Indian, 𝗔𝗽𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗯, of course! ❤️

Amazing food, lots of laughter and new friendships.

This is exactly why I love what I’m building.

For me, business isn't just about building a future. It's about creating a life where there’s time to actually enjoy it along the way!

More experiences. More freedom. More people. More life. ❤️

🐾 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙩𝙤𝙮. 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚! 😂

She normally acts like a 50m walk is an endurance event suddenly trots along like she’s competing at Crufts! 🏆

The trick? 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 otherwise she turns around and heads straight back with her new treasure! 😂

Today we did the full loop - 1km - and she absolutely loved it, even if she is still sleeping with the efforts! ❤️

And this is one of the reasons I love having a business that fits around my life.

I can work from literally anywhere, even whilst on the best walk with my babbas, whenever I want!

A lovely little catch-up with the accountability ladies yesterday, chatting about the business, sharing ideas and helping each other out.

Yesterday’s chat was all about how we speak to people and how we can get better at responding when questions come our way.

And this is what I love about having people around you who are on the same journey. We share, we learn, we help… and have a good old “chit chat” at the same time! 😂💕
