Tenía muchas ganas de presentaros el patrón Palahi.
Un diseño delicado, ligero y atemporal, pensado para acompañarte en esos días más veraniegos.

El patrón está listo para ser testeado.

🔹 Es mejor que tengas cierto nivel previo de tejer con calados o si te aventuras seas consciente que necesitarás perseverancia
🔹 Se comienza por la espalda, trabajada desde el cuello hasta la sisa; el delantero se teje de arriba abajo y después se unen ambas partes para trabajar en circular. En las fotos puedes ver su evolución
🔹 9 tallas, con contorno de pecho en prenda bloqueada de 83 a 163 cm, y holgura positiva recomendada de 10–15 cm
🔹 Hilo: seda de Knitting for Olive Pure Silk de

I’m very happy to finally introduce the Palahi pattern.
A delicate, lightweight, and timeless design, created to accompany you through warm summer days.

The pattern is now ready for testing.

🔹Some previous experience with lace knitting is recommended, or—if you decide to take on the challenge—being aware that it will require patience and perseverance.
🔹 It starts at the back, worked from the neckline down to the armholes; the front is knitted top-down, then front and back are joined and worked in the round
🔹 9 sizes, with finished bust measurements from 83 to 163 cm (32.7 to 64.2 in), and a recommended positive ease of 10–15 cm (4–6 in)
🔹 Yarn: Silk, Knitting for Olive Pure Silk

Gracias a todas las que habéis tejido Veluma durante el proceso de test, por vuestro tiempo, vuestra atención al detalle y vuestros comentarios. Han sido clave para ajustar el patrón y confirmar que es un proyecto claro, accesible y agradable de tejer.

Durante el test, Veluma se ha descrito como un chal fácil de seguir, entretenido y ligero, con una construcción que se entiende desde el principio y un diseño que va tomando forma vuelta a vuelta.

Cómo empezar una boina desde arriba - Mi retorno a las agujas de doble punta.

Si quieres que te envíe el artículo completo con el vídeo paso a paso, comenta SI y te paso el link.

Cuando un detalle es difícil de explicar solo con palabras, prefiero grabarlo. En las boinas que he tejido últimamente, el inicio es la parte más delicada: pocos puntos y una circunferencia muy pequeña al principio.

Empezar la boina por arriba tiene muchas ventajas: puedes ir probándola y ajustar el tamaño sin deshacer, y además me encanta ver cómo se forman los motivos desde el centro.

Para este tipo de inicio he vuelto a usar agujas de doble punta, que funcionan de maravilla en las primeras vueltas.

✨ How to Start a Beret from the Top — Double-Pointed Needles

When a technique is tricky to explain with words alone, I prefer to film it. In the berets I’ve been knitting lately, the beginning is the most delicate part: very few stitches and a tiny circumference to work in the first rounds.

Starting a beret from the top has many advantages: you can try it on as you go, adjust the size without ripping back, and it’s so satisfying to see the geometric shapes forming from the center.

For this type of start I’ve gone back to using double-pointed needles — they’re perfect for these first rounds.

We’re kicking things off with Flora.

This week is all about knitted head accessories. If headbands aren’t your thing, maybe berets are. They’re one of those pieces we wear exclusively on the coldest days, and to me they take on a special role as the chill sets in.

With the festive days here in this part of the world, you might find yourself with a bit more time to knit—whether it’s something for yourself or a special handmade gift.

All you need is one skein and a moment to slow down and create something unique.

Flora is a headband whose lace forms a hypnotic spiral.

Once it’s knitted, you can embroider a few flowers on it.
