“Traditionally, urban planning thinks in terms of growth and then in terms of systems or networks that serve them. The traditional urban planner thinks where the centrality nuclei are and then adds the mobility system: the bicycle network, the traffic network, the bus network, the subway network... But we need an integrated vision. We cannot design networks in a sectorial way, and we cannot design growth that is not linked to these networks.
