Historically, funk has been a vindictive music related to the fight for people’s rights. James Brown and his crusade for the empowerment of the black race, Parliament-Funkadelic and its satires on the harsh social reality in the USA. With the song Black Juice, Powafunk tries to denounce the repression and physical and psychological brutality that is used against those who protest in favor of a fairer world, a better world.

Históricamente, el funk ha sido una música reivindicativa y relacionada con la lucha por los derechos de las personas. James Brown y su cruzada por el empoderamiento de la raza negra, Parliament-Funkadelic y sus sátiras ante la cruda realidad social en USA. Con la canción Black Juice, Powafunk trata de denunciar la represión y brutalidad física y psicológica que se emplea contra aquellos que se manifiestan en pro de un mundo más justo, de un mundo mejor.
