With Ben Eidani’s Burnout EP we had the chance to welcome the wonderful 𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔 to our label roster

The Estonian-born, UK-raised DJ and producer, with releases on Frau Blau, Urge to Dance and Bau_Haus and performances across Fabric, Brunch Elektronik, Blue Marlin Ibiza and venues from Beirut to New York, brings a different energy to the EP entirely.

Built on breakbeats, “Won’t Take It” sits apart from everything else on the release and we are obsessed with it

We are very happy to welcome Hunter/Game with a skillful remix to our Marginalia family

The Milan-based duo of Martino Bertola and Emmanuele Nicosia, known for releases on Afterlife, Innervisions and Kompakt and performances at Fabric, DC10, Brooklyn Mirage and Tomorrowland, bring the groove-led, hypnotic sensibility that has made them one of the most consistent creative partnerships in electronic music.

They put their own spin on Ede’s rework of Ben Eidani’s Burnout. First time we are having a remix of a rework on our catalogue but why not :) We love both interpretations so much, and honestly never heard “the original” so we wouldn’t have it any other way 🔥

Hunter/Game’s dance floor oriented remix of the rework has gained support from the likes of JAMIIE, Magit Cacoon, Monolink, Yamil, Annett Gapstream, MANTi and more

Ben Eidani’s path to Marginalia started years ago before the label existed, at a show in Sweden, where ELIF was supporting Mind Against, who was traveling with their friend Ben at the time, a chance meeting on the road that many years later eventually led to a dinner after ELIF played Volt in Milan. This EP was already in the making.

A similar story with Ede, Ben met in Berlin one night when Mind Against played all night long at Watergate Club, and somehow, from that moment, their crazy friendship began 👨🏻👨🏻

With releases on Innervisions, TAU, Sum Over Histories and Correspondent Ede is no stranger to Marginalia and he’s returning with this rework of Ben’s Burnout after his debut remix of Chemo’s “Glock 43” last year.

Happy release day BEN EIDANI Ede 𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔 Hunter/Game 🔥❤️‍🔥 We are happy to welcome back Ede and have the new artists join our every growing family with the Burnout EP

Ben Eidani is a Milan-based producer whose music lives in the space between evolving atmospheres and dancefloor intent, built on detailed sound design and a deep connection between movement and feeling.

Title track “Burnout” is the centerpiece of the EP that we are releasing with a special Ede rework, who is returning to Marginalia after his debut rework of Chemo’s “Glock 43” last year, one of our best sellers on Beatport. His interpretation is emotive, expansive, peak-time without being obvious. A Watergate resident and widely respected figure across Innervisions, TAU, Sum Over Histories and Correspondent, Ede’s relationship with Marginalia has been growing.

Hunter/Game take Ede’s rework as their starting point and push it further into their own territory. The Milan-based duo of Martino Bertola and Emmanuele Nicosia, known for releases on Afterlife, Innervisions and Kompakt and performances at Fabric, DC10, Brooklyn Mirage and Tomorrowland, bring the groove-led, hypnotic sensibility that has made them one of the most consistent creative partnerships in electronic music.

The EP closes with “Won’t Take It,” an original collaboration between Ben Eidani and Lica. The Estonian-born, UK-raised DJ and producer, with releases on Frau Blau, Urge to Dance and Bau_Haus and performances across Fabric, Brunch Elektronik, Blue Marlin Ibiza and venues from Beirut to New York, brings a different energy entirely. Built on breakbeats, it sits apart from everything else on the release and is definitely a very special track.

BARCELONA: Culture of House explores the city with ELIF for the first episode of our new City Chats series 🗣️
