Trust is the best currency

Currently in Colombia, cryptofinance is still largely unknown to ordinary citizens. Lack of information creates a strong barrier to entry, causing many people to miss out on the opportunities they could benefit from by being part of the decentralised economy.

In this context, Bancolombia had an idea: to create a platform that would become the reliable bridge between traditional finance and the world of digital assets for that large sector of the public that does not know about it. And that is how Wenia was born.

Wenia is an application that offers the possibility to buy, sell, receive, send and convert digital assets easily and securely. The highlight of its proposal is the introduction of COPW, a stable cryptocurrency backed 1:1 by the Colombian peso, providing stability and confidence to users in a market known for its volatility.

Such an innovative product needed to be presented to the audience in a friendly and approachable way, inviting everyone to trust and feel comfortable in a terrain yet to be explored. And with that in mind, we created the identity of Wenia.

The Hottest Music Served NOW

Instant gratification is practically encoded into the DNA of Gen Z, especially when it comes to staying in the loop with the latest music tracks. Artists typically launch their new hits on Fridays, so, when they release them on a different day of the week, it creates confusion among their followers, who turn to other platforms to check the latest drops.

To alleviate this fear of missing out (FOMO) within the community, Spotify came down with a solution, thus creating HOT NOW, a dependable source for streaming the latest and hottest music right off of the oven.

To create a fresh and dynamic identity for HOT NOW, we drew inspiration from the immediacy of texting and the visual language commonly found in messaging apps. Our aim was to embody the notion that this new track arrives to you as swiftly as a text from a friend.

Our collaboration with Adobe and OFFF continues to evolve, strengthening our bond and pushing the boundaries of creativity.

For this year’s event hosted at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona, Adobe commissioned us to craft an immersive experience through a booth installation. We used Laura Norman’s illustrations to curate the space and created the walls, which served as canvases for the artist’s creations.

Within the human microbiome

Nature, the leading international weekly journal of science, has been at the cutting edge of scientific communication since its inception in 1869. With a monthly readership of nine million individuals, Nature provides unparalleled coverage of news, analysis, and commentary on its digital platform, nature.com.

In addition to its ongoing endeavors, Nature has meticulously curated a compendium of reports from journalists and researchers from across the Nature Portfolio. They named this collection “The Human Microbiome,” and its purpose is to understand how the trillions of microbes that live in and on our bodies could light paths to better health.

To visually encapsulate the essence of this innovative approach, Nature commissioned us a series of animated illustrations to serve as the project’s visuals on their website. These colourful illustrations aim to engage viewers and convey to them how scientists are now rapidly improving their understanding of the role that this microbiota has in health and disease.

Visual Identity for the Spanish Film Academy, Goya 2024

Every year The Academy celebrates the quality of Spanish cinema with the Goya Awards to the best professionals in each of the technical and creative specialities. Once again we were awarded the privilege of creating the entire visual identity for this year's occasion.

Taking place in Valladolid this year, we drew inspiration from the Pisuegra River as the central theme for our design concept. This encompassed a dynamic array of elements, including motion graphics, animations, and screen designs. In addition, we meticulously curated a color palette and fashioned a variety of transitions, split screens, and lower thirds, all aimed at enhancing the viewing experience for both remote audiences and attendees at the event venue.

OFFF curated an exhibition of modern and contemporary art at Circulo Ecuestre in Barcelona, in collaboration with La Roca Village. As part of the “By Invitation” project, we crafted a digital piece featuring an equestrian motif: a chimera where many different kinds of animals were subtly concealed within the main silhouette of two horses. Complementing the digital artwork, we produced a limited series of prints available for purchase. Reach out to [email protected] to acquire yours.

To add a sweet touch to the event, Escribà skillfully transformed our design into a delectable chocolate masterpiece, which he then proceeded to smash it with a hammer. 🍫🔨🤯🫠

Nostalgic Elegance Redefined

Biasia is a high-end Italian bag brand that embodies the concept of Newstalgia, seamlessly blending the contemporary with nostalgic influences. Drawing inspiration from the late 90s and early 2000s, Biasia captures a trendy and unique aesthetic.

Crafted to encapsulate the essence of Biasia’s philosophy and the concept behind their latest releases, we’ve meticulously designed a set of 3D animations and visuals. As the brand ushers in its next chapter, these animations seamlessly embody the spirit of Newstalgia, fusing high-fashion design with a nostalgic nod to the 2000s, Y2K and early internet aesthetics. Vivid fluorescent and metallic colors breathe life into the animations, transporting viewers two decades back in time.

A surreal journey with GQ Heroes

GQ Heroes is an annual summit by GQ magazine. It celebrates innovative thinkers and creatives pushing boundaries in various fields. The event features engaging sessions with authors, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists, and artists, emphasizing conversations that are new, weird, and stimulating. Beyond talks, GQ Heroes encourages meaningful connections during informal moments, serving as a lightning rod for dynamic individuals.

For this fifth edition of the event, we've crafted a series of surreal animated visuals designed to enhance the evening's ambiance giving it an ethereal touch. Drawing inspiration from 80’s Japanese airbrush illustrators, fantasy cover art from the 70’s and surreal/dreamy films, these landscapes were carefully curated to exude a subtle, perpetual motion, a seamless flow that imparts a sense of timeless versatility.

Playing is a journey

Adobe embraces play as an indispensable part of the creative process. That's why they seized the opportunity of Black Friday to encourage us to play with their iconic "A" and transform it into a unique form of expression itself—capable of inspiring and driving the creative industry forward.

Our specific challenge involved incorporating references from their video editing and animation softwares. To achieve this, we merged various visuals derived from those softwares with nods to the aesthetics of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The culmination of these elements gave rise to a key visual that encapsulated everything later conveyed in the final animation.

In 2016, Nequi stood out as one of the pioneers in the rise of neobanks in Colombia. This project was born from the hand of Bancolombia, configured as a completely digital platform, with a clear objective: to improve your relationship with money and help you achieve your financial goals.

Seven years later, digitalisation has become the norm, neobanks have evolved and the context in which Nequi operates has undergone a radical change. It was imperative for this mobile app to adjust to the new reality and renew its brand identity to remain relevant.

Seeking to amplify their brand presence and cater to their elite audience, One Menagerie approached us to develop assets for their Visual Identity, website, social media, and overall communication strategy. So we crafted a comprehensive solution that perfectly encapsulated One Menagerie's brand strategy:
