This Friday at Playground Records x La Terrrazza Barcelona , we welcome one of the most exciting voices in contemporary underground dance music.

Hailing from New Zealand, Eden Burns has built a singular musical universe where psychedelic house, leftfield electronics, tribal rhythms and euphoric club moments coexist with complete freedom. His productions—released through Public Possession , Follow , Optimo Music and BICEP —have earned the support of artists like Jen Cardini , and Solomun , establishing him as one of the most distinctive producers of his generation.

But it’s behind the decks where Eden truly shines. Every set feels spontaneous yet deeply intentional, constantly shifting between driving momentum, unexpected twists and moments of pure emotional release. Whether playing at NTS Radio , Rinse FM or dancefloors across Europe and Japan, his approach remains the same: curious, playful and impossible to predict.

This Friday, he lands at La Terrrazza Barcelona as part of his European tour for a night under the Barcelona sky.

This Friday, we welcome one of Berlin’s true underground tastemakers to Playground Records at La Terrrazza Barcelona .

Swedish-born and moving between Berlin and Stockholm, djdjcity has quietly become one of the defining selectors of Europe’s contemporary club culture. A longtime resident of the legendary 😍💞🛸 (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞ ❤️‍🔥 ꒞♡꒞k†aﭐL ꒯'AѪ♡r㉹ 💣💫 , Paloma and Radio 80000 , and a close affiliate of cult labels such as Public Possession , Permanent Vacation and Uncanny Valley , his musical language is built on decades of obsessive digging.

His sets don’t follow trends—they tell stories. Late ‘80s new wave, acid, forgotten house gems, cosmic electronics and today’s most adventurous productions all coexist naturally, creating dancefloors that feel timeless rather than nostalgic.

July sees Playground Records return to Asociación Freedonia for another night dedicated to the things that actually matter: proper music, proper people and a dancefloor built on trust rather than trends.

This time we’re joined by Frankie Flowerz (Mohan Das) , the Berlin-based artist and founder of the legendary parties at the iconic .official . A true product of the city’s underground, his sets move effortlessly between hypnotic grooves, leftfield gems and late-night energy, always keeping the room guessing and the floor locked in.

Joining him is our long-time resident Francisco Castorina , a familiar face behind the Playground booth and one of the driving forces behind the residency, setting the pace with the instinct and patience that only come from years on the floor.

Meanwhile, the bar belongs to .bpm all night long. The Ukrainian selector brings her own elegant blend of deep grooves, unexpected turns and understated intensity, crafting the perfect soundtrack for those drifting between conversations, cocktails and one last dance.

For the second chapter of our summer residency at La Terrrazza Barcelona , we gather once again under the stars for a night shaped by timeless selectors, open-air energy and the unpredictable spirit of the dancefloor.

On July 24th, Playground Records welcomes two artists closely connected to the universe of Public Possession — one of Europe’s most respected underground institutions, known for blurring the lines between cosmic disco, leftfield house and contemporary club culture.

Leading the night is New Zealand’s prolific producer and DJ Eden Burns , currently touring across Europe and widely celebrated for his psychedelic grooves, eccentric rhythms and unmistakable dancefloor sensitivity. His music moves freely between oddball house, tribal textures and sun-drenched emotional moments, always with that raw human touch that has made him one of the most unique voices in today’s underground scene.

Joining him is the legendary Swedish-born, Berlin-based selector djdjcity — a true cult figure whose musical universe stretches far beyond genres or eras. With decades of digging behind him, his sets flow effortlessly through obscure synth wave, proto-house, cosmic electronics and strange forgotten club music, delivered with the confidence and elegance of someone who helped shape dance culture from within.

Opening the evening, Playground Records residents Martin Noise and Francisco Castorina come together for a special b2b session, setting the mood from the very first records and guiding the floor into another long summer night in Barcelona.

One of the key figures behind Berlin’s thriving Italo and cosmic underground, Franz is the founder of Slow Motion and the driving force behind Wrong Era. For years, he’s been shaping a sound where proto-house, psychedelic disco, acid and new wave blend into timeless dancefloor journeys. With an unmistakable musical identity and an uncompromising approach to digging and curation, he’s become a true reference point for dancers and selectors alike.

Playground lands in Berlin.

This Saturday, July 4th, we kick off our first Berlin gathering of the season at the notorious with a showcase that feels right at home.

Among our special guests is Moderna — one of the most distinctive voices in today’s dark electronic underground. From Los Angeles to Berlin, she’s carved out a universe where rave, acid, electro and techno collide, powered by haunting vocals and a fearless, unmistakable identity. Through her Brave New Rave imprint, acclaimed collaborations with Theus Mago and a constant stream of boundary-pushing releases, Moderna has become a defining force of the scene we love.
