Here it is !!!!!
Finally, after three long and depressive years of hard work, we are extremely proud to present our new baby: the Western short film "Never Far From Dixie" !!!
It has been shot against the odds to make this project, everybody told us it was impossible to make a western short film with 4000€, that it was a terrible idea and we could never make it. Well...we did. With the talent of a great cast Maarten Reijnierse, Carl Chambers and Richard Leggott and the dedication and patience of a fantastic crew we finally made it.
The first thanks will go to our Patronus Supremus Pacifico Rayan Nahas and our beloved Ulule Supporters, without them, we would've never been able to do it.
Then to the crew: Àngels Melange the DoP who shoot those beautiful frames, Helena González Campo our First Assistant who helped us getting through the shooting, Monica Garcia Lorenzo who took the wheel of the sound department, Álvaro González Guardiola and Enric Vilageliu Arnella our producer, Yago Hunt-Laudi who helps us in the dialogues, Júlia Mercader our talented production designer, Sergi Perez the tailor who made the costume, Oriol Colomer, who gave us the props, Marc Tarruell Roma, Jose Vasquez, Phido Man, Edoardo A. González in the Light and Camera department, Vanesa Colón, the extremely talented make-up artist, the all VFX department who saved our asses (Helena Palomares, Judit Carceller, Fidel Peña, Marina Palomer Català, Gerard Romea), Cesc Maymó Bassó who took those beautiful still frames, and our fight consultant Abilio Calvo.
The beautiful music you can hear has been composed by Raquel G. Cabañas with the additional help of Hippolyte Deguingand.
We hope you'll enjoy it, and we'll be back with some new exiting projects ;)
