Die Kanadier Frontline Assembly und die deutsch/amerikanischen Die Krupps kommen im Rahmen der "The Machinists Re-United " im August 2022 wieder zusammen auf eine Double Headliner Tour.
Im Vorprogramm ist, wie auch 2018, Tension Control aus Osnabrück, die den EBM der alten Schule auf die Bühne bringen wird

25 Jahre nach ihrer ersten gemeinsamen Nordamerika-Tour und 4 Jahre nach deren sensationellen Premiere auf europäischen Boden, stehen die zwei Industrial/EBM Pioniere wieder zusammen auf der Bühne.

The Canadian Act Frontline Assembly and the German / American Act Die Krupps are joining forces again as part of the double headliner tour "The Machinists Re-United" in August 2022!

Supporting act, just like in 2018, is Tension Control from Osnabrück, who will bring old school EBM back to the stage.

25 years after their first North American tour, and 4 years after their sensational premiere on European soil, the two Industrial / EBM pioneers are back on stage together.

C**K SPARRER 50th BIRTHDAY BASH!

Next year sees us hit 50 years of being together as a band. It only seems like yesterday that we were in Trinity’s Youth Club, East Ham playing covers badly and listening to Will DJ and get paid more than us… ! But here we are with 50 years of touring, drinking, laughing and hanging out with our best mates. If you told us then that 50 years later we’d be in the position that we are today, with the most loyal fans worldwide that know how to have a party, we’d have taken that over any gold discs or appearances on Top Of The Pops any day.

So we thought we’d throw you a bit of a special party!

SATURDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2022 will see us performing at THE ROUNDHOUSE in LONDON.

This won’t be a usual Sparrer gig. We’ve got a few things planned that we’ve not done before. We’re going to be doing 2 sets and there will be a few surprises. We’ve got a year to prepare the best jolly up we’ve ever had, and we want you to be part of it.

We’re havin’ it large in London and this is a one off show, never to be repeated, in an iconic venue that we’ve never played before.

Bring the family! It’s ALL AGES (with under 16s accompanied by an adult and under 14s accompanied by and adult and in the seated areas only.)

Hallo Freunde,
die WELLENBRECHER Tour naht und es häufen sich die Nachfragen, ob der Part im Herbst 2021 nun auch wirklich stattfinden wird. Wir arbeiten aktuell bereits seit Wochen intensiv daran, um die Tour NICHT erneut verschieben zu müssen. Stand heute ist fix: Wir werden leider nicht alle Konzerte spielen können, wir werden aber auch nicht alle Konzerte verschieben müssen. Die Voraussetzungen für die Planung sind mal wieder sehr chaotisch: Nicht nur jedes Land wartet aktuell mit verschiedene Bestimmungen auf, sondern auch jedes Bundesland, manchmal sogar auch noch jeder Landkreis. Die Zeichen der letzten Tage stehen aber in Richtung Besserung. Unter Einhaltung der 3G's sollte einiges möglich sein. Wir geben euch in den nächsten Tagen definitiv Bescheid, welche Konzerte stattfinden können und welche nochmals verschoben werden müssen. Sorry für die Umstände, uns wärs auch anders lieber, aber wir möchten auf jeden Fall wenigstens einige Gigs mit euch zusammen feiern 😎🤘!

It's time to bring some more bands to the ball. This is our penultimate band announcement and we've snagged some absolute ballers.

The noisiest duo in music, Melt-Banana, are heading over all the way from Tokyo to show us what they are all about. Get the f**k in! They are quite an experience live so don't miss it!

The incredible Laura Stevenson will be on tour in support of her amazing self titled album and we are pleased she has agreed to pit stop in Manchester for all things punk. One of our favourite current Fat Wreck Chords bands DIRECT HIT! are joining the party, long overdue and something we've been hopeful of for years now.

Arguably the best ska punk band England has produced, Random Hand have agreed to put the gin and babies down (not together) to remind us just why we love their old furry faces so much. We are going for 2nd time lucky in trying to bring the afro-punk brilliance of Proper. over from the States after last years cancellation and it will be 3rd time lucky for German crust metal powerhouses Ancst after some unfortunate luck in previous years.

They will be joined by the beautiful Faintest Idea, The Chisel, Drunktank, Nosebleed, WACO, The Menstrual Cramps, Good Friend, Signals Midwest, Fatalist, S**t Present, Forever Unclean, Eastfield, Laughing In The Face Of, Ducking Punches, Snakerattlers, Grafteoke, Terrorpins, Disaster Forecast, Smoking Gives You Big T**s, Misfortune Cookie, Distral, Monolithian, Sulk, Dad, Chuck SJ, Maxwell Stern, No More Idols and All Away Lou.

It's time! MPF 2022 will take place over Easter weekend and we are going in hard. Here's what we have for you:

After years of trying to make it work, we are over the moon to finally welcome Massachusetts' finest A Wilhelm Scream for their MPF debut. Our good friends Martha are also joining the party with the anthemic indie punk tunes we've come to know and love in what will be their 3rd MPF appearance, holy moly!!

Hardcore innovators Shai Hulud are ready to bring their frantic riffs to melt your faces alongside all round stand up Calgary geezers Belvedere Band, fresh off the back of their 6th album release.

If that isn't enough to wet your whistle, we are pleased to confirm that Oklahoma b**g heads Red City Radio and the Cava of reggae punk bands Jaya The Cat are coming back to make up for what was lost in 2020.

New statement from Kevin (on behalf of the entire band), 3/20/18...

I had hoped to never ever have to make this announcement.

In fact, I vowed to never do it because, in my heart of hearts, I figured that, as long as Steve, Troy, Bobby and I love playing our songs for people and as long as we are physically and mentally healthy, 7 Seconds would probably just go on forever until we couldn’t anymore.

None of us ever wanted to make a ‘we quit’ announcement to our friends and fans.

None of us ever wanted to do reunion tours or comeback albums.

Well s**t....

I’m here to very sadly and regretfully announce that the band is officially calling it a day and will not be doing any more playing shows or touring in the future.

First and foremost, our brother and drummer Troy Mowat has a fractured C-6 vertebrae and a torn rotator cuff and has struggled with some nerve damage in his neck and wrists for some time.

All of this causes him tremendous pain and greatly affects his stamina and mobility.

He basically needs to stop playing drums, at least, for the foreseeable future.

Besides that, our brother and bassist Steve Youth continues to struggle with his own medical issues, most notably, blindness in his left eye due to cataracts which has contributed to bouts of of depression and anxiety and is affecting every aspect of his personal life.

He has also greatly struggled to maintain his sobriety since the death of he and I’s mother in December 2016 and is currently seeking detox/recovery help.

So basically, we’re a great big and old punk rock mess and the 4 of us can’t really find a way to clean ourselves up or work around the rubble enough to play out as a live band....

Those who have worked closely with us or who have followed us throughout our 38 years know how dysfunctional we can be but we always managed to pull our s**t together at just the right time.

This time around, the reality of being middle-aged, working class, not terribly relevant and not being able to bounce back from injuries and personal problems has become a weight just too great for us to bear and all signs finally point to retirement.

No more band member replacements or even temporary fill-ins.

7Seconds is Steve, Troy, Bobby and Kev.

Pretty much always has been and will be.

Admittedly, 2 years shy of a 40 year anniversary has me feeling a little down but there are more important things than milestones and the health of my band brothers and family trumps everything else at this point.

When the time came, I never wanted for us to do a big retirement tour but I had hoped we could at least have a big hometown (Reno) show before we took ourselves out.

That’s not going to happen.

We’ve informed our amazing and longtime booking agents - Margie/Do It Booking in the U.S. and Snoopy/M.A.D. in Europe - that we’re officially done which means, first and foremost, that we won’t be able to do our last Punk Rock Bowling show in May or our Europe run in June.

There is so much more to say and so many people we’d love to thank but for right now, that’s it.

We’re done.

We love and thank each and everyone of you for everything.
