🩵🧡 MCLAREN 720S GT3 EVO - 24 Hours SPA
• In the world’s most prestigious GT race, the 24 Hours of Spa, the #59 McLaren of the team performed superbly throughout the week. Its three consistent and fast drivers, Benji Goethe, Marvin Kirchhoefer, and Joseph Loack, worked very hard with serious aspirations to fight for the podium.
• On Thursday, they qualified P1 in the combined qualifying, which earned them a spot in Friday’s Superpole.
• A supermegalap, by an immense Marvin, confirmed their P1 position on the starting grid, gaining a lead of almost half a second over the second-place finisher.
• In the first four hours of the race, the #59 McLaren dominated, holding the lead with relays from Marvin and Benji.
• At the start of the sixth hour of the race, an unfortunate puncture threw the team’s program into disarray, effectively ruining their chances of victory. A real shame. But despite this, the fighting spirit and professionalism of the entire team motivated them to a great comeback, achieving a well-deserved sixth place overall.
