The UN General Assembly has backed the Equal Earth projection, designed to represent the relative size of countries and continents more accurately than the widely used Mercator projection.

The difference is especially striking for Africa, which has long appeared much smaller relative to northern regions on traditional maps.

The resolution passed with 164 countries in favour, 6 abstentions and just 1 vote against, the United States.

Same planet. A very different way of seeing it.

BUILT TO LAST" เมื่อทีมนมัสการไทยและอินโดนีเซีย ร่วมใจสร้างสาวกผ่านพันธกิจการนมัสการ
วันที่ 29-30 สิงหาคม 2026 ที่คริสตจักรใจสมาน สุขุมวิท กรุงเทพฯ คริสเตียนผู้มีส่วนรับใช้ในด้านการนมัสการจากหลากหลายคริสตจักร ได้มารวมตัวกันในงานสัมมนาและการนมัสการ "BUILT TO LAST" กับแนวคิด "A Worship Movement For The Body of Christ" หรือการร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนการนมัสการเพื่อพระกายของพระคริสต์
งานครั้งนี้เกิดจากความร่วมมือของ 4 พันธกิจ ได้แก่ JPCC Worship จากประเทศอินโดนีเซีย, W501, True Worshipers และ TheRiver.Asia ซึ่งร่วมกันจัดพื้นที่สำหรับการเรียนรู้ แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ และสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้นำและทีมรับใช้ด้านการนมัสการ โดยมีเป้าหมายสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างผู้รับใช้และทีมนมัสการรุ่นใหม่ ให้มีรากฐานชีวิตที่หยั่งลึกในพระคริสต์ ควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาทักษะและการรับใช้ร่วมกับคริสตจักรท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน
ตลอด 2 วัน ผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับการเรียนรู้ผ่าน 6 เซสชันหลัก ทั้งในด้านชีวิตฝ่ายวิญญาณ การสร้างทีม ภาวะผู้นำ การนมัสการ และการพัฒนาคนรุ่นใหม่ โดยประเด็นหนึ่งที่ถูกย้ำอย่างต่อเนื่องจากวิทยากรหลายคน คือ การนมัสการไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่ที่เสียงเพลงหรือสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นบนเวที แต่เริ่มต้นจากชีวิตที่ยอมจำนนต่อพระเจ้า

What if every time you opened social media, you wondered: “Will I be targeted today?” 🤔

For Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 Christians, especially in the north, that fear is becoming part of everyday life.

Social media 📲 is increasingly being used to spread accusations against Christian converts—including claims that Christians are paying Muslims to convert. In one case, testimony videos exposed the identities of believers and a ministry leader, forcing her to leave her home for safety.

A local Open Doors partner explains:

“One post can create problems for a family, a house church, or an evangelist. Many believers now feel vulnerable both online and in their communities.”

Two years after Bangladesh’s historic uprising, hopes for a better future remain. But for Christians and other religious minorities, growing pressure is putting that hope to the test.

🙏 Pray for believers facing hostility both online and in their communities.

🙏 Pray for protection for Christians whose identities and ministries could be exposed.

🙏 Pray for courage and wisdom for the church—that believers will continue to follow Jesus without fear or bitterness.

And pray that during this uncertain season, the church in Bangladesh will continue to reflect the light of Christ.
