Fully dedicated to music, with almost a decade as a DJ and six years as a producer and broadcaster (currently with the ‘Sensations’ podcast), Blanca Ross has demonstrated her musical complexity through her DJ sets (Techno, Psytrance) and productions (Deep House, Melodic Techno). Her DJ sets are characterised by a psychedelic and organic soundscapes that contrast with its deep grooves and industria
l percussions perfectly balanced and technical, well-structured buildups set Blanca’s DJ gigs and mixes apart. Blanca Ross is one of the few female artists bringing the Psytrance genre into the Techno scene. With innovative spiritual sets, she seeks synergies with Techno and Hard Techno, dominating the frequency spectrum and creating a dynamic journey for each type of session. This sees her explore ways to mix them into her long nights as a resident artist at City Hall Barcelona club, creating with this hybrid a new subgenre called Psytechno. Her melodic side has been expressed in this year's releases (2021). These include her 'Immersion EP' with the Diesis Records label, from the DJ/producer duo Giolì & Assia. While producing this EP, she also developed a new live set project, expanding beyond her previous DJ sets by adding her voice and instruments. Several promoters in and beyond Europe have taken an interest in this rising and talented artist, bringing her to clubs in Berlin, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Algeria, Lisbon, Bruges and Asia. Throughout her career, she has aimed for an energetic atmosphere in all her sessions, through feeling the crowd and knowing which track is best suited for that specific moment.
