Here are two united souls at the base of the largest stupa of the occidental world.⁠

This type of building is usually sealed but this one has a space inside for praying and offerings. Aesthetically, it represents Buddha's body, word and mind and it's usually considered to be the 'awaken mind' and the necessary path to achieve the awakening.⁠

In Spain, besides this one, there are stupas in the Granada Alpujarra, in Panillo (Huesca), in Vélez-Málaga and in Barcelona, amongst other places.⁠

He aquí dos almas unidas en la base de la estupa más grande del mundo occidental.⁠

Este tipo de edifício normalmente es sellado pero este en concreto tiene un espacio en su interior para oraciones y ofrendas. Estéticamente, simboliza el cuerpo, la palabra y la mente de Buda y representa la 'mente despierta' y el camino necesario para alcanzar el despertar.⁠

En España, además de esta, hay estupas en la Alpujarra granadina, en Panillo (Huesca), en Vélez-Málaga y en Barcelona, entre otros lugares.⁠

Whenever there is an attempt to turn off our light, we'll shine brighter. Love is our flag, if we're attacked we'll defend ourselves as one, if we're hurt we'll heal with dedication. Our love lights up the horizon, there's no shadow that can cover up our sun.

Quando tentem apagar nossa luz, brilharemos mais forte. O amor é a nossa bandeira, se nos atacam nos defenderemos como um só, se nos ferem nos curaremos com dedicação. Nosso amor ilumina o horizonte, não há sombra que possa tapar nosso sol.

Hay quien dice que nuestro camino está escrito, otros dicen que hay una luz que nos guía; pero de golpe te das cuenta de que esa luz está en nuestro interior, mana de nosotros, resplandece y nos guía cuando encontramos los seres que nos hacen sentir felices. Os deseamos un feliz miércoles lleno de Luz desde la estupa de la iluminación.

Algumas pessoas dizem que o nosso caminho está trilhado, outras dizem que há uma luz que nos guia; mas, de repente, percebemos que esta luz está no nosso interior, emana de nós, resplandece e nos guia quando encontramos os seres que nos fazem sentir felizes. This is Manu's favourite building. As you can see all the house has been designed using nature as reference. Studying geometry in nature was the main purpose in every design of Antonio Gaudi. The environment, the space and the use of light is simply unique! A wonderful place to take a picture. Thanks Casa Batlló - Gaudí Barcelona for allowing us register these moments inside the building.

Nos han enviado a este antiguo hospital y hemos descubierto que no estamos enfermos.
Aquí vienen los que tienen el corazón roto, el ego inflado y el alma perdida. Nosotros nos hemos encontrado y juntos nos fuimos. ¿Estábamos enfermos y nos hemos sanado mutuamente? ¿Nos creían enfermos porque lo dijo la gente? ¿Los que están sanos, así lo están porque ya han pasado por este hospital? ¿Habrá enfermos que se crean sanos? No sabemos. Pero aquí seguimos, juntos...

We've been sent to this old hospital and found out we're not sick.
Who come here have a broken heart, a swollen ego and a lost soul. We've found each other and together we've left. Were we sick and have healed simultaneously? Were we believed to be sick because someone said so? As for the sane ones, are they like that because they've been to this hospital? Would there be sick people who believe themselves sane? We don't know. But here we are, together...

Aqui vêm os que têm o coração partido, o ego inflado e a alma perdida. Nós nos encontramos e nos fomos juntos. Estávamos doentes e nos cursos mutuamente? Pensavam que éramos doentes porque diziam os demais? Os que estão sanos, assim o estão porque já estiveram neste hospital? Haverão doentes que acreditem estar sanos? Não sabemos. Mas aqui seguimos, juntos...

This picture reminds us how lucky we are having all those friends in our lifes. Our trip to Barcelona gave us 2 new friends that we met on the train, 2 old friends that we spent a mini vacation with and a childhood friend that we met where this picture was taken. This shot goes for all of them. 😘😘

Esta foto nos recuerda lo afortunados que somos teniendo todos estos amigos en nuestras vidas. Nuestro viaje a Barcelona nos dió 2 nuevas amigas que conocimos en el tren, 2 viejos amigos con los cuales pasamos unas mini vacaciones y una amiga de infancia que encontramos en el lugar en el que se hizo esta foto. Esto va por todos ellos. 😘😘

Where does envy come from?

The envious neither enjoy feeling envious, nor are they bad people. Envy is born of admiration. There are people who do not know how to manage admiration and because of their complexes they compare themselves with whom they admire, instead of feeling positive (admiration) they feel negative (envy).

"I admire / envy your economic position, your beauty, the couple you have..."

If anyone ever envies you, think that deep down he / she is admiring you, do not judge them, that makes you great.

From individuality to common. When you have a partner, the effort, the obligations and even the suffering double but so do the satisfactions and the joys. Individuality is maintained but the desire to make things go well for the other is integrated into oneself. In an altruistic way, we rejoice and seek the happiness of our life partner and suddenly we realize that the satisfactions are not double but triple. Our good as individuals, the good of the person we love and the good of the couple as a unit. Is there anything more beautiful?

Recuerdo el momento en el que tomé esta fotografía (Breno). Había una chica asiática con su madre haciendo exactamente lo mismo que nosotros, necesitábamos encontrar el momento perfecto para hacer la foto sin que nos interrumpieran. También necesitábamos hacerla rápido porque teníamos que ver el resto del Palau antes de que llegara el siguiente grupo y estábamos con dos amigos belgas que querían desayunar 😅😅. Esas son algunas de las razones por las que no salimos juntos en esta foto en este magnífico lugar, pero quería asegurarme de que manu tuviera su foto perfecta. Y aquí está, ¡dándole el toque final a la composición!😍😍
I remember the moment when I took this picture (Breno here). There was an Asian girl with her mother doing exactly what we were doing and we had to find the perfect moment to get this shot without having anyone else interrupting. We also needed to hurry, because we still needed to see the rest of the Palau before the other group tour started and we were with two Belgian friends who wanted to have breakfast 😅😅. That's some of the reasons we're not together on a picture in this magnificent place, but I wanted to make sure Manu got his picture perfect. And there he is, giving the final touch to the composition! 😍😍
Eu lembro do momento em que tirei essa foto (Breno aqui). Havia uma mulher asiática com sua mãe fazendo exatamente o que fazíamos e tínhamos que encontrar o minuto perfeito para fazer a foto sem que ninguém mais nos interrompesse. Também tínhamos que nos apressar, porque ainda faltava ver o resto do Palau e estávamos com uns amigos belgas que queriam tomar café da manhã 😅😅. Estas são algumas das razões pelas quais não saímos juntos em uma foto neste lugar magnífico, mas eu queria garantir que Manu tivesse sua foto perfeita. E aí está ele, dando o toque final à composição! 😍😍
