The famous "Mural del Beso" of Barcelona. 🇪🇸
Official name: "El mundo nace en cada beso"
("El món neix en cada besada")
("The world is born in every kiss")

A wall Art Mosaic is built in 2014 by the authors: Joan Fontcuberta, a photographer and Antoni Cumella, a ceramist.
It is located in Plaça d'Isidre Nonell within Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.

The Structure: 3.8 x 8-meter photomosaic made of 4,000 unique ceramic tiles.

The Imagery: Each tile features a citizen-submitted photo representing "moments of freedom," which merge together to form the giant image of two lips kissing.

The Message:
An accompanying plaque reads: "The sound of a kiss is not as loud as that of a cannon, but its echo lasts a great deal longer."

Nombre oficial: "El mundo nace en cada beso"

Un mosaico de arte de pared fue construido en 2014 por los autores: Joan Fontcuberta, un fotógrafo y Antoni Cumella, un ceramista.

Se encuentra en la Plaça d'Isidre Nonell, dentro del Barrio Gótico de Barcelona.

La estructura: fotomosaico de 3,8 x 8 metros hecho de 4.000 baldosas de cerámica únicas.

Las imágenes: Cada mosaico presenta una foto enviada por el ciudadano que representa "momentos de libertad", que se fusionan para formar la imagen gigante de dos labios besándose.

El mensaje:

Una placa que lo acompaña dice: "El sonido de un beso no es tan fuerte como el de un cañón, pero su eco dura mucho más".
