🌊 A Fantastic Visit to Boat Shed 🌊

On Wednesday I popped into Boat Shed ( Lower Bonanza Sq)nwith some of the Minnelli's crew — and I absolutely loved it! 🙌

David & Drew, originally from New Zealand, have transformed the former Greenhouse Bar into something very cool, stylish and contemporary. From the moment we arrived we were given the warmest welcome, the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known them for years. ✨

The food? Fresh, simple, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — with very reasonable prices too. 🍴 And despite the busy opening, the service was faultless. Even Drew came out of the kitchen for a chat — little touches like that make all the difference.

We wish you both every success with this exciting new chapter — you’re a fantastic asset to the area. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Let’s clear it up 👇

When you book a shoot with Spark Media, your images go through professional editing – that means lighting, colour, contrast, and overall vibe are enhanced to make everything pop 🔥

BUT…
Retouching is a whole different ball game 🧑‍💻✨

Think:

✔️ Skin smoothing
✔️ Removing stray hairs
✔️ Fixing makeup smudges
✔️ Cleaning up wrinkles in clothing
✔️ Removing blemishes or distractions in the background
✔️ Detailed facial adjustments

💡 This is not automatic. Retouching is detailed, hands-on work that takes time – which is why it’s charged at an hourly rate.

So, if you want to avoid extra retouching costs:
💄 Make sure your makeup is how you want it to look
💇 Hair should be tidy and photo-ready
👗 Outfits clean, wrinkle-free, and camera-friendly

✨ I'm always happy to retouch if needed, but just keep in mind—it’s custom work and billed by the hour.

What a Night to Remember! 🎉📸

Last Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of documenting the incredible 80th birthday celebration of the legendary fashion designer Brian Piccolo — and wow, what a party! ✨

Set in his stunning home, guests were welcomed with a stylish drinks reception, followed by a gourmet meal and then treated to a full-blown concert featuring some of the Costa del Sol’s top performers. The energy was electric, and the dancefloor didn’t stop all night long! 💃🎶
