AUDITORIUM PHANTOM: Construct by ØVRE

The main idea is a sound study of how consciousness constructs reality through the prism of the effect of auditory pareidolia, the brain’s innate tendency to find familiar patterns in chaotic noise. It is a metaphor for the creation of all mental constructs: personality, memory, emotions, social norms, time.

The album is divided into three conditional parts: Assembly, Deconstruction, and Reassembly.

“Construct” - invites the listener to think about how he himself collects his own reality.

, under his alias Hualien, delivers a new work on Subsist that delves into a territory of sonic contrasts. The work is built on industrial tensions, drones that traverse space, and dense atmospheres that envelop the listener in an almost hypnotic state.

The heavy, forceful rhythms sustain a harsh landscape that gradually opens up to unexpected passages, where flashes of ethereal melodies and moments of strange calm appear. Each piece functions as a chapter with its own identity, but together they form a cohesive narrative, loaded with textures and layers that invite deep listening.

This album is, in essence, an exploration of opposing forces: hardness and fragility, darkness and light, noise and beauty, brought together under Hualien’s unmistakable pulse.
