Hong Kong in Spain? 🏝️
We found it hiding an hour from home near Cartegena — a tiny fishing village that looks uncannily like Hong Kong. Boats moored outside the front door, one small bar, and a natural rock arch that isn't in any guidebook. We also climbed to an 18th-century fort and the lighthouse that's guarded its harbour for 160 years.
We genuinely couldn't believe it was all in Murcia.

Spain's midnight bull run — and it's not what you think.
We spent a night at Formentera's Suelta de Vaquillas, the village's traditional running of the heifers. If you're picturing a bull fight, think again — no weapons, no capes, no matador. And before anyone asks the obvious question: no animals were harmed.
