➕ Designed by Niko Design Studio, this vertical residence in Tokyo reimagines extreme urban density as a quiet sanctuary within a narrow 12 ft frontage. Conceived as a “city within a city,” the home dissolves spatial limits through a tree-like structural logic, creating layered, cave-like interiors where light and shadow define the experience. Elevated voids and filtered openings enhance privacy while maintaining subtle connections to the surroundings, offering a calm, immersive living environment that transforms constraint into spatial richness.

➕ Designed by Ruiz Esquíroz Arquitectos (), this project reinterprets urban living within Pamplona’s historic fabric, replacing four houses on a narrow plot with a light-filled, contemporary solution. A woven double-skin façade of ceramic and glass brick filters light, air, and privacy, while delicate iron galleries reinterpret 19th-century elements. Despite the constrained 15 ft width, the design enhances spatial quality, ventilation, and comfort, creating a refined living experience that bridges heritage and modernity.

➕ Designed by Greyscale Design Studio () , this residence in Bangalore unfolds as an architectural dialogue between continuity and change, where two families coexist through a vertically layered layout that balances autonomy and connection. A sculptural concrete wall frames the courtyard, its geometry shifting with light and time, while a double-height void draws in air and life. Pastel swings, oxide finishes, and crafted details evoke memory, as skylights and sustainable strategies shape a home that evolves with its inhabitants.
