The label name (heartbeat in English) is a tribute to a contemporary artist and writer from Granada who was one of the pioneers in our country when it came to mixing electronic music and art. In his poems and writings the word "LATIDO" appears frequently. After selecting the name, we contacted contemporary artist Dora Garcia (http://www.doragarcia.net/), who has a famous piece called "heartbeat".

We asked Dora to write the word LATIDO in the same font that she used for some of the parts of her "Heartbeat" piece. She accepted, and it ended up being the label's logo. Latido will be a mixture of different sounds and genres ranging from disco and techno to post-punk and everything in between. Synth, trance melodies and cosmic chords with psychedelic vibes and vibrant drums. New Wave with flashes of 80's EBM, Electro and New Beat. LATIDO presents Liminal, the new EP by .youngster
With Liminal, Promising/Youngster delivers two original cuts — “8F” and “Solid” — rooted in broken electro rhythms, crisp drum programming and sharp melodic tension. The EP moves between fractured structures and controlled drive, balancing atmosphere with clear dancefloor intent. Both tracks reflect a precise, stripped-back approach that prioritizes rhythm, space and forward motion.
Australian duo contribute a remix of “8F”, reworking the track through their distinctive club-focused lens. The result is tighter and more groove-led, reinforcing the EP’s functional edge while maintaining its core identity.
A concise and focused release, Liminal further defines Promising/Youngster’s electro-driven language within club music.

After a few months of silence, LATIDO returns this Friday with a new release.
