Durante toda la mañana, jóvenes talentos del futuro se acercaron a nuestras charlas y conferencias descubriendo de cerca cómo funciona Dempo y todo lo que ofrece en el sector TIC de Granada y la Costa Tropical. 💻

The Christmas Card Contest Is Back! 🎨🎄

The festive season has arrived once more, and our homes are filling with the joyful decorations of the time. Drawings, Christmas cards, and greetings are part of the magic too. The Miguel García Sánchez Foundation once again invites the little ones to share their Christmas creativity through its annual contest. 🎅

Children aged 2 to 13 can take part in three different categories. Each category offers first, second, and third prizes, along with a small gift simply for joining in. Our young artists have until 10th December to send in their beautiful creations.

¡Tenemos nuevo compañero: Francisco Martos Roa! 👋

Fran, especialista en Front End, se une al equipo de desarrollo aportando talento, energía y muchas ganas de crear. Tras varios años viviendo en Granada, llega desde un pueblo de Jaén rodeado de interminables campos de olivos. Porque sí, la tecnología también puede echar raíces en pleno campo, como bien demuestra él. 🤖🫒

Además, Fran es uno de los deportistas de Dempo. No solo amante de las carreras, sino campeón, continuando una tradición familiar marcada por dejar huella en cada marca. Un auténtico velocista que, cuando no está entrenando, disfruta del anime y de seguir explorando software por pura pasión. ¡Bienvenido, Fran! Estamos encantados de tenerte en el equipo. 🏃‍♂️‍➡️

We’re delighted to welcome our new colleague: Francisco Martos Roa! 👋

Fran, a Front-End specialist, joins our development team bringing talent, drive, and a genuine passion for creating. After several years living in Granada, he comes from a small village in Jaén, surrounded by endless olive groves. Proof that technology can certainly take root in the countryside. 🤖🫒

Fran is also one of Dempo’s athletes. Not just a running enthusiast, but a champion, continuing a family tradition of setting impressive times on the track. A true sprinter who, when he’s not training, enjoys anime and diving into software as one of his favourite hobbies. Welcome aboard, Fran! We’re thrilled to have you on the team. 🏃‍♂️‍➡️

¡Estuvimos en la gala "Quién es quién"! 🎉

Hemos disfrutado del acto y celebraciones celebrados en el auditorio de Caja Rural Granada. Poder participar de este acto que da voz a las empresas de nuestra ciudad en papel es muy importante para nosotros. Sobre todo esta edición, donde las tecnologías, la digitalización y la IA han copado un hueco importante del discurso de este evento.

Agradecemos la invitación a la gala de presentación del IV directorio de empresas granadinas editado por el Diario Ideal.es y San Telmo Business School. Dempo forma parte del tejido empresarial de Granada y por ese motivo lo apoyamos. 🤝

We attended the “Who’s Who” gala! 🎉

We enjoyed the event and celebrations held at the Caja Rural auditorium. Being able to take part in this event, which gives a voice to the companies in our city in print, is very important to us. Especially this edition, where technology, digitalisation and AI played a significant role in the event’s discourse.

We are grateful for the invitation to the presentation gala of the 4th directory of Granada-based companies, published by IDEAL and San Telmo Business School. Dempo is part of Granada’s business network, and for that reason we support it. 🤝

¡Apoyamos a Granada en su candidatura a Capital Europea de la Cultura! ⭐

Desde Dempo apostamos firmemente por nuestra ciudad y por todo lo que tiene que ofrecer como futura Capital Europea de la Cultura. Granada es una auténtica joya en todos los sentidos, además de ser un referente clave en innovación tecnológica dentro de Andalucía y de España.

Por ello, hemos sido una de las más de 350 empresas granadinas que se han adherido al proyecto 2031 Granada, participando en el evento organizado por la Cámara Comercio Granada. Hemos disfrutado de las palabras del presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Granada y de la Confederación Granadina de Empresarios (CGE), Gerardo Cuerva Valdivia, así como de la alcaldesa, Marifran Carazo Villalonga, y de otras personalidades relevantes que apoyan esta candidatura. At Dempo, we firmly stand behind our city and everything it has to offer as a future European Capital of Culture. Granada is a true gem in every sense, as well as a key hub for technological innovation in Andalusia and across Spain.

That’s why we were one of over 350 Granada-based companies to join the Granada 2031 project, participating in the event organised by the Granada Chamber of Commerce. We enjoyed the speeches from the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Granada Confederation of Employers Gerardo Cuerva Valdivia, as well as from the Mayor, Marifrán Carazo, and other prominent figures supporting this bid. We were also pleased to see the continued strong presence of Vito, as always.

¡Una semana de Inteligencia Artificial en Granada! 📲

La ciudad acogió el III Congreso de Inteligencia Artificial de Andalucía en el Palacio de Congresos y la inauguración del Centro de Inteligencia Artificial de Andalucía (ANIA) en la Fundación PTS - Parque Tecnológico de la Salud.

Durante estas jornadas, hemos podido asistir a ponencias, mesas redondas y demostraciones sobre los retos y oportunidades de la IA en sectores como agrotech, industria, administración pública, gaming y computación cuántica.

El acto contó con la participación de Juanma Moreno, Marifran Carazo Villalonga, Francis Rodríguez, Jorge Paradela Gutiérrez y Vito Episcopo, reforzando la colaboración entre instituciones, empresas y territorio. Como empresa granadina, nos llena de orgullo ver cómo nuestra tierra se consolida como referente en innovación digital y tecnología. 👨‍💻

A week of Artificial Intelligence in Granada! 📲

The city hosted the 3rd Andalusian Artificial Intelligence Congress at the Palacio de Congresos (Granada Conference Centre), as well as the inauguration of the Andalusian Artificial Intelligence Centre (ANIA) at the Health Technology Park.

Throughout these sessions, we attended talks, panel discussions and demonstrations on the challenges and opportunities of AI in sectors such as agrotech, industry, public administration, gaming and quantum computing.

The event featured the participation of Juanma Moreno, Marifrán Carazo Villalonga, Francis Rodríguez, Jorge Paradela Gutiérrez and Vito Episcopo, strengthening collaboration between institutions, businesses and the region. As a company from Granada, we are immensely proud to see our homeland consolidating its position as a benchmark in digital innovation and technology. 👨‍💻
