Last week we received devastating news. An Ibiza icon has unfortunately passed away. Not just the founder of Sunset Ashram, but to me a pioneer in how to live life to the fullest. The bright colors of his clothes were a direct reflection of his soul.
We only became closer this year and he already had an impact on my life. I was so insecure about doing something different at Ashram but he gave me the confidence to do what I felt I wanted to do.
I could listen to stories about his life and Ibiza for hours. I am very sad I won’t be hearing any more.
Manel made me feel like I am good the way I am and don’t have to change for anyone. He surprised me with a birthday cake when I had no one to celebrate with, and he always was confident that I will achieving anything I wanted in life.

The people that have had a big impact on my life will be in my heart forever. They stand out, do what they want and make an impact on others. I hope one day I can do that too.

Ibiza is changing, and he saw it too. I don’t know what is going to happen to this beautiful island, but at least the sunset will always be his. 🧡
