Old As Dust has been on the scene since 1994, hooked on the sound of acid he's created a mix for us 'Can You Pass The Acid Test?' - in the late 90s he created a brand in Bristol 'Acid Test' & 'Acid Test Dressings' that became an underground acid techno label. He took his sound to Pacha & Ministry of Sound in London, he was on the BBC Radio 1's 'In New DJs We Trust' stage with Fergie in 2000 & has played along some huge names in his career such as Derrick May, Weiss, Pete Tong, Sasha, DANNY RAMPLING Judge Jules & more!

He is now resident for Helium UK, Paradox music and events in Wales as well as running his own label Headfunkt.

Old As Dust found his love for acid tracks in 1995 soon after starting to DJ - he’s played at Pacha in London, Ministry of Sound & was part of BBC Radio 1’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’ stage with Fergie dj at Glastonbury Festival (official) 2000

He has played alongside some of the world’s biggest DJs such as Weiss, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Derrick May, Sasha & DANNY RAMPLING

In the late 90s he started an Acid Techno brand ‘Acid Test’ & ‘Acid Test Dressings’ with some mates in Bristol which became one of the more underground Acid Techno labels along with Noom, Smitten & Tinrib

He took a break from the scene for a decade & then returned in 2014 with his own label Headfunkt with fellow DJ Paul Lyons in South Wales

He is now resident for Helium UK, Paradox music and events & the infamous ‘Acid Test’ will be making a return in the future

Luke is a regular selector down Dogruff in Swansea & down Platform 11 in Pontypridd.
He’s made us an exclusive VINYL ONLY mix for the show! An insane & eclectic twist of Detroit Techno & lighter Romanian Minimal sounds which echo the signature sound of Dogruff but Luke’s own style & technique of blending tracks is clear in the mix - really enjoyable to listen to & some fantastic record choices from the 90s as is his preferred era.
