⛵🌊 Hidden in the heart of Ibiza’s harbor is a unique floating treasure: , « the only certified historic vessel in Ibiza’s harbor. » Long before the island became a world-renowned destination, this majestic wooden schooner was already sailing the seas, transporting timber, sand, and sailors’ tales throughout Northern Europe.
⚓✨ Built in 1936 and named in homage to the Viking goddess of love, fertility, and craftsmanship, the Saga has lived a thousand lives. Cargo ship, training vessel, Caribbean cruise ship, and even tourist boat in a Danish fjord, it is now the only vessel in Ibiza’s harbor listed as a historical monument.
🌅💙 At 24 meters long, with two masts and a capacity of up to 35 passengers, the Saga offers a rare experience, a world away from modern tourism. Here, there are no deafening engines or races against the clock. The wind guides the navigation, and the sea sets its own rhythm.
🌿⛵ Everything unfolds at a different pace, with a different energy, free from smells and pollution… In an ever-faster Ibiza, boarding the Saga feels almost like an act of resistance. A timeless interlude where the journey becomes as important as the destination.
