💀👻 Ibiza is set to become the capital of horror! From October 29 to November 2, the white island will swap its sunsets for thrills with the , the second edition of an event that has already become a cult favorite for fans of horror movies, fantasy and fun.

😱 On the program: film screenings, workshops, art, terrifying makeup, and happenings for all ages. On October 31, get ready for the most intense evening: transformation into zombies at Vara de Rey, Tunnel of Terror at C19 with live actors and an escape game, then the Monster Walk, a parade of fantastic creatures through the center of Ibiza to the Monster Catwalk, where the craziest costumes will be rewarded.

🎞 And that’s not all: animated films for children, live concerts, bloody contests, and a monstrous finale on November 2 with an awards ceremony and the screening of a classic horror film.

🐢✨ A magical birth in Ibiza! On Es Cavallet beach, in the heart of Ses Salines Natural Park, 38 baby sea turtles (Caretta caretta) have just hatched. This is a great victory for biodiversity and a powerful symbol of nature’s rebirth on the white island.

🐣💦 After incubating at the Aula del Mar in Palma, these little wonders hatched at the end of September before being entrusted to the Andratx Marine Laboratory, where they will grow for several months before being released into the sea. The aim is to give them every chance of survival in their natural habitat.

💚 This nesting, the first of the season in Ibiza, marks a new milestone in the conservation of this vulnerable species. All this has been made possible thanks to the work of COFIB, the local authorities, and the Ses Salines Natural Park.

🌧️ Ibiza and Formentera inundated by torrential rain. On Tuesday, nearly 300 liters of rain per square meter fell on the Balearic Islands, putting Ibiza and Formentera on red alert. Beaches closed, schools suspended, streets flooded: the archipelago experienced a day of chaos under a “very slow” storm, according to Aemet, the Spanish weather agency.

🚨 Emergency services asked residents to avoid traveling. Containers were swept away, roads were cut off, trees fell, and ground floors were submerged... 132 incidents were reported in Ibiza alone. The images broadcast show muddy water flooding palm-lined promenades, while sirens blared in the background.

🙏 Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the island has been enjoying its legendary sunshine and beautiful blue skies since Wednesday. But many businesses and residents on the island, particularly in Eivissa, now have to get back on their feet.
