41, single, no kids and never married.
And for a long time, I genuinely thought I was one of the few.
Not because I chose this life. In fact, for most of my life, the relationship, marriage and family were exactly what I imagined would happen.
They just didn’t.
And since I started talking about it online, I’ve realised how many of us there are.
Women whose lives haven’t followed the timeline they expected. Women who never met the right person. Women who thought they’d have children by now. Women who’ve had to come to terms with a life that looks very different to the one they pictured.
I talk honestly about that here. The things you miss out on. The financial reality of doing life on one income. The assumptions people make. The pressure we put on ourselves when our lives don’t look how we thought they would.
But more than anything, I talk about what happens next.
Because I’m changing my life instead of spending the rest of it wishing things had turned out differently.
My life didn’t go to plan. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a bloody good life still to be lived.
If you’ve just found me and any of this sounds familiar, stick around 💛
