Following a conversation with a highly successful artist this afternoon , we were reminded of an important truth, and it’s only fair that we share this nugget of wisdom often overlooked in search of “big label” signings..

“Make music for yourself, not for record labels”

We love hearing from artists, but too often the message is, “I think this one will fit your label.”

The real magic happens when it’s, “This one fits us.”

That’s when the art is real. That’s when we listen..!!

Authenticity always wins, but create with purpose, and let the world catch up.
