Since 1984 Humpty Dumpty has sat proudly on the wall in Javea Arenal area providing greetings cards and stationery for people here in the Province of Alicante. In 1990 Humpty Dumpty adapted to being a newsagent and card shop and has become a valued landmark in Javea.

Muriel and Michael have with their staff served the community through floods, fire, road closures and even Volcanic Ash. Always a smile and a helping hand but at the end of this month on 28th February Humpty Dumpty will open its doors for the last day of trading.

Muriel and Michael would like to thank the loyalty of its customers throughout the 42 years of trading. There are many stories to tell and who knows one day they may publish their own book.

Humpty Dumpty has not fallen off the wall it has merely climbed down to enjoy retirement.
