The Kazakh🇰🇿 National broadcaster, Khabar Agency, has applied to become full membership at EBU.

The application comes after the reponse to a letter sent to the Kazakh Ministry of Information and Culture.

In case that the request be accepted the broadcaster, EBU associated member actually, would not only have the benefits of full EBU membership but also be able to apply for Eurovision Song Contest, as it attempted several times.

11 years old and from Milan (Italy) , ViolaMarie will represent San Marino 🇸🇲 at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with a song to reveal soon.

With a wide artistic formation focused on singing, piano, ballet, and modern dance since she was 5, in recent years she has trained in disciplines such as musicals and voice acting.

She has participated in several music competitions as Je So Pazzo, Tour Music Fest, Sanremo Junior and Performer Cup, performing also in Zecchino d’Oro and La Tv dei 100 e uno.

PBS/EBU show the design of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 stage, inspired also in the Maltese "Festa".

The central stage is surrounded by the traditional streetscapes, including colourful façades and traditional balconies, during a village celebration.

Each participant, using that stage's architecture, lighting and scenic will be able present its own performance world, keeping at the same time the visual identity of the host country.

The producers' aim was joining the roots of the local culture with the scale, excitement and emotion of an international music event.

PBS/EBU have revealed the theme art for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (24th October, Ta’Qali-Malta)

The theme art is a tribute to the Maltese party that, from day into night, it brings families, communities and generations together in villages across the Island

Flags and festoons lining the streets, brass bands and traditional instruments filling the air, with colour, light, confetti and fireworks building towards the excitement of that "festa".

These elements will be reimagined through a unique Junior Eurovision event, bringing Malta’s sound, movement and visual spectacle to the international stage.

24 countries have now confirmed their preliminary participation at Eurovision Song Contest 2027.

Among them Canada🇨🇦, that it debuts, and North Macedonia 🇲🇰, that it returns to the contest.

Stefano De Martino, Artistic Director of Sanremo 2027, has confirmed the participation of Måneskin (🏆 2021) at contest, doing a comeback 6 years after his victory.

JUNHEE will represent South Korea 🇰🇷 at Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 after his victory in the National selection, "Korea's Next Wave", with "Deep Dive".

ERR has confirmed the Estonian 🇪🇪 participation at Eurovision Song Contest 2027, announcing also that the National selection, Eesti Laul 2027, will be held on 30th January at Unibet Arena (Tallinn).

The application to submit songs is opened until 8th October, with 2 new rules:

🔹️The participants must be at least 18 years old
🔹️Commitment of the winner to participate at Eurovision Song Contest 2027

12 songs will be selected by a professional jury to compete at contest, likely announced in autumn.

The show will have 2 voting rounds:

1️⃣ 3 superfinalists (jury+televoting)
2️⃣ Winner among the superfinalists (televoting)

During the presentation of its autumn schedule, RTVE announces that the participants for Benidorm Fest 2027 will be revealed on 13rd October.

As César Vallejo, the contest's director, explained, they are well on schedule despite the many hours spent listening to all the entries.

RTVE has not confirmed yet the Spanish 🇪🇸 participation at Eurovision Song Contest 2027 with Benidorm Fest 2027 as the National selection.

RTVE has revealed that Lucas Paulano will sing "Cuore Bello, Te Quiero Te Quiero" for Spain 🇪🇸 at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (24th October, Ta’Qali-Malta).

The song was created by Blas Cantó (🇪🇸 2020/2021) alongside Dangelo and Carlos Almázar.
