Admin Note: 10 years ago we posted this article and voiced concerns that leaders weren't listening to what was actually happening in the field. To his credit, CMSAF Cody reached out and we had a conversation. He wanted to hear questions and concerns. It was actually impressive to hear he wanted opinions that may be outside of the box and he stated he wanted to hear from the pulse of the force. Over the next decade we would have the same rapport from CMSAFs and their teams. All except the current one. There has been radio silence. They don't seem concerned about the pulse of the force and all Enlisted Airmen and families are paying the price
