I'll be at Ministry of Sound Club on May 15th for a tribute/fundraiser event for Andy Williams aka Yam Who?, who sadly left us last month. It's a huge line-up - Dave Lee JN, Horse Meat Disco, Melvo Baptiste, John Morales, Michael Gray (Official), Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, Young Pulse, Saison, Sophie Lloyd, Seamus Haji, Red Rack'em, Alan Dixon, The Reflex, Graeme Park, Moodena and Jaegerossa included. The night runs from 8pm-2am - I'll add some ticket links in comments.

Andy's disco/re-edits label, Midnight Riot Records, which he founded in 2012, was a go-to source for many DJs, and was named by Mixmag as one of the most influential disco labels of the past decade, issuing both edits and originals. He worked with DJs/artists including Dave Lee, Amp Fiddler, Arthur Baker, Hifi Sean, Dames Brown, Dr Packer, Michael Gray, Fingerman and Art Of Tones. This followed-on from his ISM label, which he’d launched in 2009.
He started out DJing in 1989 and was a part of the formative nu-disco movement of the mid-‘90s, his band, Fuzz Against Junk signed to key label, Nuphonic. More recently, he was also one half of Qwestlife, alongside Tom Laroye, recording for Glitterbox, as well as the holding the position of disco editor for Mixmag.
