Today marks 5 years married with my husband. This 5 year anniversary we are 5,000 miles a part and many are asking where he is but he’s the reason I had the support to do the Camino. I’m so thankful he is getting me through really hard days when I feel like giving up. We’ve shared a little bit of our lives here with you all and it’s an honor many of you have followed us, messages us, even sent us things. It means so much. ❤️

Crying because I get todo something my parents and grandparents sacrificed their entire lives for. So many of my friends who live under a socialist dictatorship can’t dream of this. I can. I walk for the political prisoners,for my family, my abuelos, the future generation. I WALK FOR FREEDOM! Patria y Vida!!!!!! 🥺🥺🇨🇺🇨🇺✊🏼✊🏼

200 miles in the Camino de Santiago. Everyday I am walking half a marathon dedicated not only to my own spirituality but also to my parents and grandparents who sacrificed so much so one day their child could do this. Escaping communism and becoming their own little success stories is what got me here. Freedom is amazing but God is great!!!!

Surprise!! The reason we haven’t posted lately. I’ve been on a pilgrimage walking over 500 miles across Spain called the Camino de Santiago. For myself, for my relationships, for the freedom of Cuba but more importantly, for my savior Jesus Christ. It’s the toughest 35 days I have ever been called to do. Physically and emotionally.
