I’ve had my driving licence for over 2 years here in Spain and somehow… I’m still driving like a passenger who was accidentally given the keys.
Since I got my licence, my husband has basically been the Minister of Transport in this household.
Me? I drive.
Him? Everything else. 😂
⛽️ Fuel price? I don’t know.
⛽️ Refilling? He does it.
🛢️ Oil? Please, what am I looking for?
🚗 Tyres? I will inform him if they look suspicious.
🔧 Bonnet? I know how to open it… emotionally.
🧼 Washing the car? God bless my husband.
📄 Insurance? As long as we’re insured, I’m at peace.
The funniest part? I’ve been driving for over two years and I still have that “Babe, come and check this thing” mentality.
At this point, I’m not a car owner.
I’m just the designated driver.
