25 Things to Do in Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 | Part 4

If you've been following along, here's the final installment of my Lisbon recommendations!

📍 Rent a Scooter – My favorite way to get around Lisbon. It's perfect for covering more ground in less time and makes exploring the city even more fun! 🛴

📍 Fort of Bom Sucesso (Forte do Bom Sucesso) – Home to the Monument to the Overseas Combatants, a striking memorial with a reflecting pool honoring Portuguese soldiers who served overseas.

📍 Belém Tower (Torre de Belém) – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Lisbon's most iconic landmarks. Built during Portugal's Age of Discovery, it once guarded the city’s harbor. 🌊

📍 St. George’s Castle (Castelo de São Jorge) – Perched high above Alfama with sweeping views over Lisbon and the river. Give yourself time to explore the medieval walls and castle grounds. 🏰

📍 Marquis of Pombal Square (Praça do Marquês de Pombal) – A grand square marking the beginning of Avenida da Liberdade. It's an easy stop while exploring downtown Lisbon.

📍 Columns Pier (Cais das Colunas) – Once a ceremonial entrance for visitors arriving by boat, it’s now a peaceful spot to relax and watch ferries crossing the Tagus ⛴️

25 Things to Do in Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 | Part 3

7 more spots for your Lisbon list, from tile-covered viewpoints to one of my favorite restaurants in the city! ⬇️

📍 Pink Street (Rua Nova do Carvalho) – One of Lisbon’s liveliest nightlife areas. The bright pink pavement and colorful umbrellas overhead make it such a fun photo stop! ☂️💕

📍 Santa Luzia Viewpoint (Miradouro de Santa Luzia) – A lovely viewpoint overlooking Alfama and the Tagus River, framed by tiled panels and bougainvillea that make it even more charming 🌸

📍 SUD Lisboa – My favorite lunch spot in Lisbon 🥂 It’s located right along the water in Belém, with incredible views of the 25th of April Bridge and the river.

📍 Tuk Tuk Tour – Lisbon’s hills are no joke. A tuk tuk tour is a fun and easy way to see more of the city without wearing yourself out. 🛺

📍 National Pantheon (Panteão Nacional) – A stunning domed monument honoring some of Portugal’s most important historical figures. Head up to the terrace for panoramic views over Lisbon ☁️

📍 Azulejo Tile Murals – Keep your eyes open while exploring because these beautiful Portuguese tiles are everywhere, from building façades to metro stations. 💙

📍 Sanctuary of Christ the King (Santuário Nacional de Cristo Rei) – Located across the river, this monument offers one of the best panoramic views of Lisbon from its viewing deck.

Save this for your Lisbon trip, and don’t miss Part 4! ✨️

South of Spain beach dump 🌊☀️🇪🇸

From slow beach days and swimming in the sea to bodyboarding, kitesurfing, wandering through the dunes, and chasing sunsets…there’s a lot to love about summer in Andalusia! ♥️

A few of the beaches I’ve been enjoying along the Costa del Sol and all the way down to Tarifa:

📍 Playa El Rosario | Marbella, Spain
📍 Playa Los Monteros | Marbella, Spain
📍 Playa de Guadalmansa | Estepona, Spain
📍 Playa Arroyo de las Cañas | Estepona, Spain
📍 Playa de Valdevaqueros | Tarifa, Spain
📍 Playa de Bolonia | Bolonia, Spain

25 Things to Do in Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 | Part 2

Between the colorful neighborhoods, scenic viewpoints, and incredible food, there's no shortage of amazing things to do in Lisbon. Here are a few more to add to your bucket list! ✈️

📍 Jerónimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful buildings in Lisbon. Give yourself time to admire the intricate stonework, both inside the cloisters and out front. ⛪️

📍 Restorers' Square (Praça dos Restauradores) – Home to a towering obelisk commemorating Portugal's independence from Spain, it's a great stop while exploring downtown Lisbon.

📍 25th of April Bridge (Ponte 25 de Abril) – Yes, it really does look like the Golden Gate Bridge! The best views of it are from the Santuário de Cristo Rei across the river or right along the waterfront in Belém. 🌉

📍 Museum of Art, Architecture & Technology (MAAT) – Even if you skip the museum itself, the rooftop is free to visit and offers beautiful views of the river.

📍 Tram 28 – Riding Lisbon's famous yellow tram through its historic neighborhoods is a classic experience. Go early in the morning to avoid the longest lines. 🚋

📍 Time Out Market – A massive food hall bringing together some of Lisbon's best chefs and restaurants under one roof. It's the perfect place when you can't decide what to eat (or want to try a little bit of everything)! 🍽

Save this for later, Part 3 coming soon! ✨️

25 Things to Do in Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 | Part 1

I left Lisbon wishing I'd planned an extra day. There are so many charming streets to wander down, viewpoints to admire, and hidden corners waiting to be discovered.

Here's part 1 of everything worth adding to your itinerary! ⬇️

📍 Rossio Square (Praça Dom Pedro IV) - I loved the wave-patterned pavement, the beautiful fountain, and (if you're visiting in late spring) the blooming jacaranda trees that add a splash of purple to the square. 💜

📍 Miradouro das Portas do Sol - One of my favorite viewpoints in the city, with beautiful views over Alfama and the Tagus River. ☀️

📍 Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio) - Lisbon's grand riverside square opening onto the Tagus River. Walk through the Arco da Rua Augusta, then spend a few minutes by the water watching the ferries go by.

📍 Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos) - Built to honor Portugal's Age of Exploration, it's even bigger and more impressive in person than in photos. If you have time, head to the top for panoramic views over Belém. ⛵️

📍 Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa) - Nearly 900 years old, this cathedral is one of Lisbon's most iconic landmarks.

📍 Santa Justa Lift (Elevador de Santa Justa) - The line can get long, so my tip is to walk up to Largo do Carmo instead. You'll get a similar view for free and can ride the lift down if you still want the experience.

Save this post for your Portugal trip and stay tuned for Part 2! ✨️
