Have you ever read a book so good that you became a different person after reading it? You know the ones that open your aperture and leave you for the better…. The ones you can’t put down and hate to finish.
Here are a few of mine:
▫️If You’re Going To Cry, Go Outside
▫️Love is a Mixtape
▫️Susie Orman: Young, Fabulous and Broke
▫️Eat, Pray, Love
▫️A Brave New World
- ABNW was required summer reading in high school and it was one that I actually read every single page instead of the cliff notes. I still bring it up in conversations 20 years later.
- Most people probably have no idea about cry outside, but it was pinacle for me in nyc. I’ve read it at least 3x since leaving just to reminisce about my other life in corporate fashion.
- Suze Orman helped me achieve all of my financial goals in my early 20’s and Love is a Mixtape helped me grow in my long term relationship at 23.
- unpopular opinion but EPL was ruined when it became a movie so we’ll just leave it at that.
