A migrant boat from Senegal with 188 people (14 women and 14 children)

According to the migrants themselves, they had made a 7-day journey from Sonkone, in Senegal. People from Mali, Senegal, Gambia, and Guinea-Conakry were on board the boat.

They arrived at El Hierro this morning at 10:00 am with big celebrations because they all reach safely.

Update about the migrant that depart from Gambia.

According to the migrants themselves, they had made a journey of 8 days in total, leaving from the port of Banjul, in Gambia, and stopping at the port of Dakar, in Senegal, from where it would have taken them 6 days to reach El Hierro. The boat was carrying people from Senegal, Gambia, Mauritania and Mali.

None of these people needed to be transferred to the Virgen de los Reyes Insular Hospital for medical attention.

According to information gathered from health and emergency services, the number of people affected was 86, mostly men, including 7 women and 9 minors,

Three different migrant boats depart from Gambia with husbands of Gambia migrants including women and children, on Saturday night 17,08,24 one of the boats departed from Bakau, I don't know yet which place the other two boats departed, but it was three boats that departed we wish them all the best wishes for their safety I will be monitoring their movements if I know anything i will update it here .

And the migrants boat that departed from Mandinaring was last two weeks back was intercepted by the Mauritania navy and they were deported to Roso Senegal then to the Gambia .

A total of 196 immigrants arrived today, Sunday, in El Hierro, aboard two canoes, one of them arrived on its own with 175 occupants, during the morning, to the dock of La Restinga, in the municipality of El Pinar, and another rescued with 21 crew members, by the Maritime Rescue vessel, Salvamar Adhara, in waters near the island, at midday and which was transferred to this port in the south of El Hierro.

A total of 5 people from the first boat needed to be transferred to the Virgen de los Reyes Insular Hospital for medical attention, including a pregnant woman.

The first boat arrived on its own at the La Restinga dock at around 11:50 a.m., with 175 people of sub-Saharan origin, mostly men, including 7 women and 13 minors, according to information gathered from health and emergency services. According to the migrants themselves, they had made a 7-day journey from the port of Mbour in Senegal. People from Mali, Mauritania, Senegal and Gambia were on board the boat.

The second cayuco was rescued by the Maritime Rescue vessel, Salvamar Adhara, in waters near El Hierro, at around 2:30 p.m., with 21 crew members, of sub-Saharan origin, mostly men, and among whom was traveling 1 woman, according to information gathered from health and emergency services. According to the account of the migrants themselves, they had made a 6-day journey from the port of Dakar, Senegal. On board the boat were people from Gambia, Cameron and Senegal.

A migrant boat from Senegal arrived in Tenerife
Maritime Rescue has escorted a cayuco with 180 migrants on board, including 29 minors, to the port of Los Cristianos, in Tenerife.

Eight of the barge's occupants were taken to medical centres for various illnesses, such as dehydration or fever, the sources said.

The Salvamar Alpheratz headed towards the area of the sighting and after locating it, escorted it to port.

A migrant boat from Senegal with 97 people of sub Sahara African migrants arrived in El Hierro around 10:00 am in the morning

Two of these people needed to be transferred to the Virgen de los Reyes Insular Hospital for medical attention.

According to information gathered from health and emergency services, the number of people affected was 97 people of sub-Saharan origin, mostly men, including 23 women and several minors, including 3 girls, 5 of whom were just a few months old, who were treated in the port of El Hierro by the Immediate Emergency Response Team

According to the migrants themselves, they had made a journey of 9 days from the port of Dakar, Senegal. The boat was carrying people from Senegal and Guinea-Conakry.
