Hay discos que intentan sonar a Chicago. Otros que se obsesionan con Detroit. Y luego está Rams, que directamente pasa de copiar y decide mezclarlo todo… a su manera. Y ahí es donde entra Ego: un título que no es casualidad, porque este trabajo tiene personalidad, carácter y cero ganas de parecerse a nadie.

Este álbum largo es oscuro, sí. Tiene groove, también. Pero lo interesante no es eso (eso ya lo hacen muchos). Lo interesante es cómo lo hace: house con mala leche, techno con intención y un sonido que no pide permiso. Todo con ese aire underground que no se fuerza, simplemente está ahí.
