📣📀Out today! So happy to annouce this double album, which explores a remarkable and largely forgotten chapter of Spanish chamber music from the first half of the twentieth century. The album is devoted to a generation of composers trained at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, whose string quartets reflect the aesthetic diversity, ambition and international outlook of Spanish musical modernism.

Performed by the Cuarteto Seikilos, this recording is the result of an extensive process of research, critical editing and stylistic exploration. It stands as a significant contribution to the recovery of Spain’s chamber music heritage, offering fresh insight into a repertoire of exceptional artistic value that deserves a renewed place on today’s concert stages.

📣📀Out today! This album brings to light a fascinating and little-known repertoire preserved in the archives of the Spanish Royal Chapel. Violist Pablo de Pedro Cano, together with Lorenzo Meseguer and Samuel Maíllo, playing on period instruments, offers a vivid and finely detailed reading of a selection of sonatas that epitomise the musical language cultivated at the Bourbon court in the 18th century.

A celebration of creativity across centuries, Le Chant des Muses gives new life to music too long unheard. Anna Urpina brings to light a treasury of works by women composers from the Renaissance and Baroque to the present day. Isabella Leonarda, Francesca Caccini, Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Maddalena Casulana, and their contemporaries are joined by lesser-known figures such as Mademoiselle Duval, Gracia Baptista, Anne Madeleine Guédon de Presles, Mademoiselle Buttier, Marieta Morosina Priuli, and Lady Mary Dering. Several pieces are presented here in world-premiere recordings, offering listeners the rare experience of hearing voices long silenced.
