Why I believe having a digital business matters in 2026

As an OFW working in property management, I’ve learned how important flexibility and stability are.

Having a digital business allows me to:
• Work around my schedule
• Build something alongside my overseas job
• Learn new digital skills
• Use systems and tools that support long-term growth

I didn’t start with experience. What helped was simple, step-by-step training and a supportive environment where I could learn at my own pace — using just my phone or laptop.

This journey isn’t about quick results. It’s about consistency, personal growth, and creating options for the future while still focusing on my career and family.

Christmas abroad is beautiful — festive lights, gifts, gatherings with friends — pero alam natin na iba pa rin kapag nasa Pilipinas ka. Kahit gaano kaganda ang celebration dito sa ibang bansa, nothing truly replaces Noche Buena with family.

Most Filipinos abroad feel this every year. Masaya, pero may kurot. May handa, pero may kulang. And kahit nakakapag-celebrate naman tayo, the truth is… being far from our loved ones during the holidays is one of the hardest sacrifices we make to provide, to support, to give more.

At ganun kadalas nagsisimula yung longing natin for freedom — freedom to choose when to go home, freedom to take a longer break, freedom to be present during moments that matter.

Quick question —
how many hours do you think you spend on your phone each day?

Most of us scroll without even noticing the time go by. I used to do the same, especially when I felt stressed about bills or just stuck in the same routine.

What changed for me was realizing the phone itself wasn’t the problem — it was how I was using it.

no boss
no crazy tech stuff
Just learning
applying, and staying consistent.
