Got Books?

Likely the last episode (or who knows?!) of Got Books? is now up! And it's the episode that closes the circle. After much dreaming and thinking and planning, I went ahead and opened my own bookshop in beautiful Mojácar, Andalucía. It then only took me about two years to do this episode. It felt really nice to be interviewed by as we both tried to remember from about five year ago how to use a microphone, how to edit a podcast (tools have evolved!) and how to speak in a way that is not too awkward. We only somewhat succeeded, but I hope you enjoy this little chat about opening a bookshop that is more a project than a business. Find it on Spotify or anywhere else where you go for podcasts.

Our podcast has been quiet because the bookshop took over, so there's been less time to record conversations with booksellers. We did it! We opened a bookshop in Mojácar, Spain. For now our social media presence is quite lame (we're only on FB, follow us Sunny with a Chance of Books), but you can see more of our bookshop adventures there! Yey!

NEW Episode! is a new bookshop with a great story. It's in Lisbon, where its founder moved a few years back and realised she was not the only one missing fresh exciting new books in English. So she started what has already become a literary home for readers and writers in Portugal's buzzing capital.
