Just two days ago, we bid farewell to .campobasso_music after an incredible almost 6-month journey. This marked the end of our first long-term residence program, thanks to
New Horizon is the culmination of months of experimentation and creation with Alessandro Campobasso and the La Masia team. Our mission was to craft experimental jazz loops and tunes that spark inspiration for fellow producers and creators. This project will unveil as a modern experimental jazz record, alongside a unique collection of loops, one shots and VST instruments.
Under the guidance of .l.wolkowicz , our pianist and producer, Alessandro explored chord progressions and melodies on piano. With ’s expertise, these musical ideas blossomed. Led by Javier Bayon and , we harnessed the unique ambiance of our studio, an old farmhouse, to shape our sound. Special thanks to the talented jazz musicians like Carlos Rodenas and Pablo Costas for their valuable contributions.
Soon, we’ll be sharing over 60 loops and one-shots from ‘New Horizon’, available for free for a limited time at our partner’s online store, . This process involved songwriting, pre-production, rehearsals, atmospheric piano recordings, and meticulous post-production.
