A day around town with the fam…

Selfishly loving the fact that the kids love taking photos. Today we talked about composition and lighting and using motion blur in shots.

Got myself a new pocket rocket 🚀 📸

I swapped some gear a couple weeks ago and wanted something that I can just put in my pocket and document the days and BTS.

I did a load of research and ended up with the Ricoh GRiii Street Edition. It’s packing some punch in this little beast.

1 & 2 were inspired by the main man 🔥

The rest are straight out of camera from our trip to bakery next to our clients place in Portals. What a bakery 🥯

There’s more to a city than what meets the eye. I took these on a quick location scout on the way back to the car.

I ended up finding spots I’d never visited before. Wish I had more time to shoot, but now I know some more spots.

Palma is amazing, the people, areas and culture. Can’t wait to get back into the city.

This is day 7 of taking photos and posting everyday.

It’s funny because I have put off sharing my personal work for a long time. I suppose it’s separating client work and personal that holds me back.

However I have been enjoying the challenge so far, even if it’s just 30 - 45 mins somewhere on the day to take photos and post them regardless of my thoughts.

It’s stopped the paralysis analysis and the critique of my own creative work. It’s also allowed me to express what I see that day.

That’s pretty cool…

I’ll be dropping a new YouTube video tomorrow touching on this subject.

All that I can say is do it for YOU, do it NOW and take ACTION.
