Sunseeker Mallorca Consolidates Flagship Operations in Puerto Portals
Sunseeker Mallorca has announced a strategic consolidation of its operations in Mallorca, saying a fond farewell to the substantial retail showroom in Port Adriano to focus on the long-standing office in Puerto Portals.
Andrew Thomas, Sales Manager at Sunseeker Mallorca, commented, “Over the past decade - and accelerating recently - we’ve seen a clear shift in the Sunseeker ownership journey. Today’s clients arrive having already conducted extensive research via AI, social media and search engines, leading to a steady decline in traditional walk-in business. Our role has evolved to provide personalised, appointment-led experiences, rendering the large Port Adriano space unnecessary. Consolidating into Puerto Portals allows us to operate more efficiently with a sharper focus on the client’s needs.”
The decision also reflects an internal shift towards modern working practices. In a similar vein to comparable businesses, Sunseeker has embraced flexible working, including remote and hybrid models. Transitioning to a single high-end headquarters in Puerto Portals allows for more effective workspace use and hot-desking, ensuring staff continue to deliver the premium service Sunseeker Mallorca’s clients expect.
“Since its inauguration in 1986, Puerto Portals has been at the heart of the British boating scene in Mallorca - a natural home for a Great British brand like Sunseeker,” continues Andrew. “We opened our first office here in the 1990s and have since built an extraordinarily loyal client base. We are convinced that this freshly upgraded marina remains the ideal setting for Sunseeker Mallorca’s next chapter.”
Despite the office closure, Sunseeker Mallorca is not leaving Port Adriano entirely. Having enjoyed a significant presence in the world-class marina since 2012, the Company will remain part of its community as active customers.
