We are Mike & Lucy and live in Tenerife, follow our Motorhome travels around the Canary Islands & Europe also including some Formula 1 Grand Prix´s (2026 is Barcelona & Austria Grand Prix).

We have been home for 4 weeks, I have been snowed under with hospital stays and appointments and safe to say its gona be a long road, ongoing dental visits and more, Lucy had been puting in a few hours, we have employed 2 more staff members, we are doing all sorts to try and re-juvinate Place 2B and September is going to be busy, busy as always. Baza is sat on our land looking sorry for himself so next week its outside clean from top to bottom, do all the seals etc and put the fridge all back together and lets get him out for a jollie next weekend. mmmmm but where? We have FNC at the bar so it will be the usual there but maybe head off to the west and over the North for a couple of nights....Watch out for some pictures!

***The Big One 2026 Has Now Ended***
Our ferry arrived spot on time here in Tenerife and we had a very surprisingly easy run down from S/C at tea time tonight, a quick stop into our trusty Motorhome service point 10mins from our house to dispose of a few bits and drop the grey water, but most importantly grab a few beer as I'm sure Molly wouldn't have thought to get any in! lol.

Q: How many Klms did we drive in total over the 8 countries we visited during our The Big One 2026 Trip.

A: Drop your answer in the comments below on this page or my personal page and Ill add it into the spread sheet. Ill draw the winner on Monday 31st August ( winner will be the nearest Guess) and post the before and after pictures so you can see for yourselves how many Klms we did infact drive.

☹️Sad Day☹️
Our last day on mainland, packing up Baza for the last time (this trip!) will be checking out of this site before 1pm, about 1hrs drive to Huelva and a stop for lunch/early dinner then off to the port for a few hours shut eye before boarding the ferry home.
Some plans already being made for some more local adventures (might include a ferry or 2!) and of course awaiting the FIA then it will be full steam ahead for 2027 planning.
A huge thanks to everyone from Lucy & I that have followed us, shared our posts and took time to comment.
This is certainly not a goodbye, simply a see you all soon ❤️

...Happy Saturday all...
The end to our travels is getting ever nearer 🙁So today its a 3.5hr drive from Gibraltar towards Huelva, up around Saville. We have chosen a site outside Huelva (about 1hr from the ferry and have booked for 3 nights. After that is 1 last night on the port side ready for the early boarding of the ferry for the 36hr trip back to Tenners. Once we are back we have some things to attend to, Baza will need his 1st service, a good clean inside & out then its planning time for 2027 and a few others dropped in along the way.
Keep your eyes on this page for updates, if your a friend of our Business page (Place 2B ) keep an eye on that for a few exciting things coming up in and around September time (if your not a friend, you should be! 🤣)
For now its into the driving seat for me and Lady Lyall will be co-pilot!

Now the easy question is answered here are a couple from yesterday....Lady Lyall was in her element in M & S, and it was proper Steak Pie & Chips for dinner last night and it was amazing!
Nice nights sleep right on the marina which has all the facilities needed apart from electric hook up but we have loads of solar so no issues. The Boss watched a couple of Corries on catch up before bed and today in another day!....Will prop pop up and see the monkeys which I never did last time I was here almost 40 years ago!

Morning all, we hope your all well and enjoying life as you should be?
As we have said in past posts we had intended and have hit our goal of visiting 7 different Countrys, but yesterday the opportunity came to make 7 become 8 but the question is which country is our 8th & final one of this trip.

Camp all set for lunch (dippy eggs!) then Grand Prix, lazy afternoon so may partake in a couple of ‘light’ refreshments, not that we need topping up after meeting up with Karen yesterday which was a nice day at the beach club of chatting, catching up and quite a few drinks! Dinner tonight will be trying pizza & garlic bread on the new pizza stone on the new Cadac BBQ……

Sooooo, just a few from our last couple of days when we celebrated Lucy Birthday….. we had a lovely day on the beach, a couple of beers (Alhambra) and couple of free tapas which I thought I could pass off as her ‘Birthday Meal’ but it didn’t work! Indian it was then and she catigorically told me it was one of the best she’s had…..👍result👍
We have moved even more south and are near Mijas just north of Marbella and looking forward to seeing a friend of ours tomorrow (I have a feeling it’ll get messy!). On our way and after a bit research a quick visit to Spain’s biggest BBQ dealer and a quick new purchase!! So of course we have to try it tonight….. pasta bolognaise for dinner tonight but look out for the BBQ pizza on Sunday night with garlic dread after the Grans Priz!
Monday we move on maybe to Estapona area for a couple of night but who knows, it’s a road trip and a road trap has no direction! 🤣👍
